Expressive design, exciting driving pleasure, premium quality and individual style: the MINI 3 door combines all of this with a classic body concept and the fascinating tradition of the brand. The new Resolute Edition for the original in the premium segment of small cars now sums up this unique combination. With its exclusive design and equipment features, the original qualities of the MINI 3 door are reinterpreted in a modern way. The new edition model has been available in stores since March 2022.
MINI Cooper S 3 Door Resolute Edition
The MINI Cooper S 3 door in the Resolute Edition is a prime example of traditional sportiness. Its 2,0 liter four-cylinder engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology mobilizes a peak output of 131 kW/178 hp and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. With the standard 6-speed manual transmission, the spirited small car sprints from a standstill to 6,8 km/h in 100 seconds. With the optional 7-speed Steptronic transmission with double clutch, progress is even faster. Then 6,7 seconds are enough for the standard sprint. The top speed is 235 km/h.
17-inch alloy wheels
Sporting talent is in the genes of the MINI 3 door. The Resolute Edition evokes memories of the brand's early motorsport career, notably with a body finish inspired by the classic British racing car hue. The exterior paintwork in the Rebel Green variant clearly expresses the sporting spirit of the premium small car. The color was previously reserved exclusively for the top athlete MINI John Cooper Works. The body color is combined with a contrasting paint finish in Pepper White or alternatively in black for the roof and the exterior mirror caps. Bonnet stripes with parallel lines in light and dark gold tones and exclusive 18-inch light-alloy wheels in Pulse Spoke Black round off the sporty appearance of the edition vehicle. Alternatively, 17-inch light-alloy wheels in the Tentacle Spoke Black variant are available.
The "RESOLUTE" lettering on the bonnet stripes and the door sill trims also signals a clear commitment to the historic roots. Brand-typical design features are executed in the exclusive color tone Resolute Bronze. These include the surrounds for the headlights, the radiator grille and the rear lights, the side scuttles on the front side panels, the handles on the doors and tailgate, as well as the air inlets in the front apron and the fuel filler cap. The brand logos and model lettering, which, like the inner frame and the cross brace of the radiator grille as well as the tailpipe trims of the exhaust system, are in piano black, form an attractive contrast to this.
The anthracite-colored headliner and the sports seats in the exclusive fabric/leatherette design Black Pearl/Light Checkered, which are combined with black armrests and knee rolls, ensure an authentic driving pleasure ambience in the interior. The MINI Yours Leather Lounge variant is also available on request in the color Carbon Black with particularly striking seams and piping as well as a perforated Union Jack motif on the headrests. The standard equipment also includes the nappa leather sports steering wheel. An edition emblem can be found on the lower spoke of the steering wheel and on the floor mats.
specific interior surfaces in the Resolute Edition
The high-quality and authentic style of the MINI Cooper S 3 door in the Resolute Edition is also emphasized by specific interior surfaces. Parallel and evenly curved lines in a light gold tone form an elegant pinstripe pattern on the black background of the surfaces. At the same time, they pick up on the structure of the bonnet stripes. The design features of the edition are atmospherically staged with the help of the light package, whose LED units ensure targeted illumination of the interior, as well as with the ambient light, which also illuminates, among other things, a laser-engraved ring for the central instrument, light piping in the doors and in the cockpit area includes door handles and doorsteps. The MINI Driving Modes are also part of the equipment range for the MINI Cooper S 3 door in the Resolute Edition. A decidedly sporty characteristic for the drive and chassis systems of the vehicle can be activated with a toggle switch.
