There's a real legend here! A BMW E36 M3 in techno-violet-purple with a 240 PS & 320 NM torque in-line six-cylinder! And if you are wondering whether we have committed ourselves to the PS, let me tell you that the US model was nowhere near as strong as the European variant. Under the hood was not the S50B32 with 3201 cm³ displacement and 321 hp, but the S3B52 engine (basic block: 32i-320i) unknown in the M328 in this country without individual throttle valve injection and only with intake VANOS. The engine was also used in the E36 / 7 (Z3) M Roadster and the E36 / 8 M Coupe. And later even the Alpina B3.3 and the B3.4 of the E46 model generation used the block as a basis. MOMO Heritage-6-wheels wheelset
And now to the current vehicle. It was created by the well-known company MOMO (Italy) and shows itself with a MOMO Heritage-6-wheels wheelset in a chic bronze tone and with a yellow MOMO lettering. The design is deliberately kept in an old school look and fits perfectly with the classic silhouette of the M3. Specifically, the dimensions on the front axle are 18 × 8,5 inches and there were 18 × 10 inch rims at the rear. The new wheelset is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport tires in 225/40/18 and 245/35/18 format. And a look through the spokes reveals a modified brake system. The M3 is now using slotted brake discs at the front and rear, which should provide an improved deceleration. And there are also some other changes compared to the series. For example, the M apron received an additional front spoiler and a set of black kidneys is also installed.
Rear with fancy wide diffuser
At the rear there is a fancy rear diffuser and there also seems to be a new sports exhaust system. Apart from the fact that this is shown with blue-burnt tailpipes, unfortunately no further information is available. And that also applies to the rear spoiler. Here, however, we are pretty sure that it is the factory component of the M3 that was only increased with spacers. And finally you have darkened the windows of the M3 all around and installed a subtle lowering. The changes are completely sufficient to give the M3 a dose of sportiness of the present without seriously attacking the classic design.
