Discreet: Motordrome Design body kit for the VW ID. buzz!

The VW ID. Buzz is the first all-electric bus from Volkswagen, combining the legendary look of the Bulli with the latest technology. It has a flexible space concept, a long range and numerous assistance systems. In the following article we present a subtly tuned ID. Buzz and show what makes him special. It is an idea how to give the van even more character. The idea came from the Greek company MotorDrome design, who have developed a special body kit for the electric van. The kit consists of four components: one front splitter, which makes the front apron appear lower and even wider, side skirts with small fins that make the side line more dynamic, one rear Apron extension, which optically lowers the rear and a roof spoiler. The latter builds on the spoiler that is already available ex works and is intended to provide a little more downforce.

All parts are made of ABS plastic and painted gloss black. You should give the ID. Give Buzz a sportier look without going over the top. Incidentally, the body kit is equipped with the ID. Buzz and also with the ID. Buzz Cargo compatible, which should be a variant for craftsmen and other service providers. However, it is questionable whether the aerodynamic components will have a real impact on driving performance or even fuel consumption, as claimed. By the way, if you are interested in the body kit, you do not have to dig too deep into your pocket. MotorDrome Design sells the parts at a relatively reasonable price: the front splitter costs €159, the side skirts and rear bumper extension together also €159 and the roof spoiler €129. For the complete package you only pay €606 including VAT.

subtle changes for the optics

MotorDrome Design's body kit is an interesting option for anyone who wants their ID. want to give Buzz an individual touch. However, it remains to be seen how well it will prove itself in practice and how it will be accepted by fans of the electric Bulli.
