MSO (McLaren Special Operations) knocked you out! It's been an incredible eleven years since the Gulf-Davidoff GTC Racing's McLaren F1 GTR long-tail achieved first place in the GT1 class at the 1 24 Hours of Le Mans. To bring this event back to people's minds, the McLaren Special Operations Center created a personalized 1997 LT that consumed over 675 hours of work. The vehicle was specially built by order of the customer and with the OK of Gulf Oil and just to apply the fabulous paintwork in blue, black and orange it took more than 1.000 working hours.

The spectacular look on the outside is also continued in the interior, and so the 675LT shows a cabin with blue and orange contrasting seams, orange seat belts and a center console adapted to the exterior of the vehicle. Actually, this vehicle would be the optimal brand ambassador to announce that the upcoming 24 hours of Le Mans will be on display again with a McLaren. This will definitely not happen at least this year. That already 86. 24-hour race takes place from the 16. to 17. June 2018 will be held at the circuit of the 24 Heures and as one of the most well-known driver will be the two-time Formula 1 World Champion, and current McLaren driver, Fernando Alonso for Toyota with the TS050 Hybrid at the start.

Interesting vehicles are certainly the Ferrari 488 GTE, the Porsche 911 RSR, the brand new BMW M8 GTE or the Aston Martin Vantage V8. If we get even more information about the 675 LT with Gulf Oil livery there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is just ours Feed subscribe to. Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
