The latest MTM creation (MTM-Bentley New Continental GT) is based on the originally 507 PS or 528 PS strong GT with V8, which now has a whopping 772 PS. That's just 265 more horsepower that can be achieved using the special MTM engine management and exhaust gas turbocharger including the front pipe.

There is also a metal catalytic converter and new high-performance fuel pumps. So brilliantly strengthened, the MTM Continental goes to 100 km / h in under four seconds and just 7 seconds later the 200 km / h barrier is broken. MTM specifies a top speed of around 330 km / h, which catapults him into a Ferrari 488 GTB or a Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4. You should keep in mind that the GT has an empty weight of over 2.300kg and is thus easily 800kg over a 488 GTB. Phenomenal key data that are of course also supported by the standard all-wheel drive. But almost 800 hp also want to be brought to a standstill again. For this purpose, an MTM carbon-ceramic brake has been installed which has lush 420 × 40 mm brake discs on the front axle that are gripped by Brembo 6-piston brake calipers.

And of course there is also something for the eye and so the Birkin Speed ​​Eight got sporty, elegant Bimoto rims in the dimensions 10,5 x 21 inches or, on request, a size smaller in 10 x 20 inches. The new Alus are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires in the 285/35 format. So that the wheelset sits perfectly in the wheel arch and the GT is also a bit more agile, MTM uses the F-Cantronic II system to lower the body subtly, which nevertheless ensures that the comfort awareness of traditional Bentley chauffeurs is retained. And a subtle aerodynamic kit was also installed. At the front, a carbon front splitter on the original front apron provides more contact pressure and an individual look and at the rear there was a fixed rear spoiler which is of course also made of carbon.

And of course, the extra power of the V8 should also be audible. MTM realizes this with the in-house MTM sports exhaust system Bentley Continental GT V8 / V8S which is equipped with exhaust flaps. On request, but there are only MTM rear silencer Bentley Continental V8 / V8S which also have exhaust flaps. And where does the addition "Birkin Speed ​​Eight" come from? The Continental gets its stage name thanks to one of the enthusiastic “Bentley Boys” from the British manufacturer's Sturm und Drang times. Tim Birkin was a gifted and fearless full-throttle youngster in the 20s who chased his Bentley around the circuit on the Brooklands racetrack at an average speed of phenomenal 220 km / h.
