More than four seconds faster on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife

Porsche Tequipment offers a Manthey performance kit for the current 911 GT3 for even better performance on circuits. The 375 kW (510 hp) 911 GT3 with Manthey performance kit lapped the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring in 6:55,737 minutes. This makes it exactly 4,19 seconds faster than the 911 GT3 without the kit. Above all, aerodynamic and chassis components are modified. The new performance kit was developed in close cooperation between the Porsche engineers in Weissach and the Manthey Nordschleife specialists in Meuspath. The components from Porsche Tequipment, which have been optimized for use on the circuit, are sold through the Porsche centers.

Significantly increased contact pressure

The Manthey performance kit for the 911 GT3 can be recognized by the extensive changes to the aerodynamically effective add-on parts. A larger front lip and side flaps are installed at the front. Together with the modified air deflectors on the underbody, these increase downforce on the front axle. The modifications in the rear area are even clearer. The wing of the 911 GT3 with gooseneck suspension is wider and now has a spoiler lip (gurney). The end plates with the distinctive Manthey logo have been increased, as has the wing's angle of attack. The fins of the rear diffuser have been lengthened and are now made of CFRP. Wheel covers (aerodiscs) on the rear wheels, also made of CFRP, further improve aerodynamic efficiency.

Adjustable coilover suspension

Together with Manthey, Porsche has developed a special four-way coilover suspension for the 911 GT3 that can be adapted for use on the circuit. The spring struts are four-way adjustable, rebound and compression can be adjusted without tools. The moderately adjusted spring rates (plus ten percent on the front axle, minus seven percent on the rear axle) contribute to improved handling in the limit area without having to make any compromises in everyday usability. A lightweight forged wheel set with rims in 911 and 3 inches is optionally available for the Porsche 20 GT21. These reduce the unsprung masses by a total of 7,3 kilograms. They are available in brilliant silver, dark silver, neodyme and black (satin finish).

The kit comes standard with a steel braided brake line set. This guarantees a very precise pressure point and thus ensures optimal controllability of the brake. Special racing brake pads are optionally available for the Porsche GT3 with Manthey performance kit. Door projectors and illuminated door sills with the Manthey logo contribute to visual customization. A tow loop is also part of the kit.

Impressive time at the Nürburgring

On the Nürburgring Nordschleife, traditionally the testing laboratory for sports cars at Porsche, the 911 GT3 with Manthey performance kit can play its trump card to the full. With Porsche works driver Kévin Estre at the wheel, the modified GT athlete lapped the 20,8-kilometre circuit in the Eifel in 6:55,737 minutes – 4,19 seconds faster than the standard 911 GT3 a year earlier. Both vehicles were equipped with the optionally available Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres. The lap time was certified by a notary present on site. The Manthey Performance Kit from Porsche Tequipment can now be ordered by customers in Europe from 37.911 euros plus country-specific sales tax in the Porsche Centers. Deliveries will begin in autumn 2022. Other markets will follow. The factory warranty of the 911 GT3 remains fully intact.
