From today until next Sunday (19-22 April) opens the Monaco Top Marques 2018 their gates. Among other things, there will be a spectacular world premiere of POGEA RACING there. Based on a Ferrari 488 GTB, the tuner presented the completely rebuilt FPlus CORSA which is limited to a number of 20 copies. This is the first time the company from Friedrichshafen has entered the super sports car repertoire because Pogea has usually refined Fiat or Alfa Romeo vehicles up to now. And with the 488 you go straight to the limit. For the Italian there is a weight and aerodynamically optimized body and striking light alloy rims, as well as, of course, a significant increase in performance.

The aerodynamic components were from the designer Michele Leonello Drawn and fit the basic form of the 488 GTB perfectly. The FPlus CORSA comes with a complete carbon look aerodynamic package consisting of front apron, rear apron, active diffuser, sidewings, side skirts and a fixed rear wing on aluminum feet. Even small details such as the mirror housings, the air guidance systems or the small deck lid spoiler come from POGEA and ensure a total weight saving of 48 kilograms.

The highlight is definitely under the bonnet because here you give the V8 BiTurbo an immense increase in performance. From 670 PS & 760 NM it goes up to 820 PS & 900 NM and everyone hears that acoustically thanks to a powerful stainless steel flap exhaust system. The FPlus CORSA accelerates to 2,8 km / h in just 3,0 seconds (series: 100S) and has a top speed of a breathtaking 345 km / h (electronically controlled) clear 15 km / h faster than the series. The performance on the road bring thereby Pilot Sport 4S tires from the house of Michelin in the dimensions 245 / 30 ZR21 front and 325 / 25 ZR21 back accordingly huge fail.

And of course the tires are not pulled onto the standard rims, but Pogea installs an in-house ultra-light monoblock wheel set in the FPlus CORSA in 9 × 21 and 11 × 21 inches which, in addition to weight savings, also has a super elegant look. So that the wheelset sits consistently in the wheel arch and the last tenth of the dynamics is squeezed out of the 488, there were POGEA sport springs that bring a subtle lowering for increased performance. And you don't stop at the interior either, and so the POGEA RACING 488 is styled according to individual customer tastes.
