Porsche completes the Macan series with a decidedly sporty model. The new Macan GTS is launched with a powerful engine, performance-oriented chassis, characteristic design and upgraded equipment. The 2,9 liter V6 biturbo engine delivers 280 kW (380 hp), an increase of 15 kW (20 hp) over the previous model. Combined with the newly tuned PDK dual clutch transmission and the optional Sport Chrono package, the Macan GTS sprints from zero to 4,7 km / h in 100 seconds. It is three tenths faster than before. The top speed is reached at 261 km / h. The new member of the compact SUV family from Porsche earns the abbreviation GTS, which stands for "Gran Turismo Sport", among other things due to its outstanding driving dynamics. The suspension, lowered by 15 millimeters, combined with the specially tuned damper control Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), allows even more lateral dynamics.
RS Spyder design wheels in 20 inches
Adaptive air suspension with a further ten millimeters lowering is available as an option. In conjunction with the standard 20-inch RS Spyder design wheels and the generously dimensioned cast iron brake (360 by 36 millimeters at the front, 330 by 22 millimeters at the rear), the new Macan GTS impresses with the agility and spontaneity of a real sports car. Optionally, the deceleration can be improved even further using the Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) with tungsten carbide coating or the ceramic brake Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB). The driving pleasure in the new Macan GTS is accentuated acoustically by the standard and GTS-specific sports exhaust system. The source of the sound experience is the 2,9 liter V6 engine, the so-called central turbo layout with the two turbochargers arranged in the inner V enables particularly direct response.

The color black also sets accents at the rear: the diffuser and the tailpipes of the standard sports exhaust system are painted dark. Leather trim GTS in carmine or chalk
The GTS leather trim in carmine red or chalk with additional Alcantara® features and additional color accents, the BOSE® Surround Sound System and the new smartphone shelf with inductive charging function are further examples of the numerous customization options. The adaptive cruise control including traffic jam assistant, the parking assistant including rear view camera and surround view, a heated windscreen and the ionizer meet the desire for safety and comfort.
