Countless Restomod vehicles we have from the team of ECD Automotive Design seen. The company specializes in making Land Rover vehicles in particular restore and to modify them as so-called restomods. And the latest reveal features a converted Defender 110 convertible, which the company dubs 'Project Hutton'. The vehicle features Ferrari and Porsche details, and the Defender's performance is significantly increased compared to what you could buy from the factory at the time. Under the hood is a 6,2-liter LT4 supercharged V8 from General Motors, but surprisingly ECD doesn't provide any specifics on its performance. However, we know that the engine as Crate engine delivers a brilliant 650 hp (477 kW). The engine is coupled to an eight-speed automatic, which transmits the power via reinforced axles.

Visually, the Defender comes with a paint finish in the Porsche color Frozen Blue and ECD combines the paint with many details in silver (Underrun protection, Rammschutz, aprons etc.). And also installed is a new radiator grille in silver and a matching one Roll cage, which extends from the fenders to the rear. Massive adorn the sides Side skirts as steps the optics and the roof are made of white vinyl. In addition, the Defender stands on 18-inch rims in a 10-spoke design with 33 inches (0,84 m) off-road tires by BF Goodrich.
Hidden behind are Ferrari yellow painted Brembo calipers with perforated discs. And inside? There's Caressa Silver Touch leather, which is basically a rich, white hue that's sure to reveal any dirt particle. There are also Ferrari yellow ones Racing Harnesses and the yellow dials provide another color accent. Incidentally, behind the second row of seats there is space for four more passengers, who can sit on opposite jump seats. In other words, a maximum of eight people can be transported.
with Kenwood eXcelon infotainment system
And of course ECD also installs modern technology in the oldi. For example in the form of a Kenwood eXcelon infotainment system, Infinity Kappa speakers, a wireless charger, four USB ports or cameras fore and behind. Countless other details such as the sports exhaust system with double tailpipes on both sides, the full-fledged spare wheel, the LED lights in front (including protective grille) and behind or the four additional lights on the roof round off the restomod tuning impressively.
