Project Urban Warfare: Defender by ECD Automotive

Project Urban Warfare: Defender by ECD Automotive

And again a Defender of ECD Automotive Design. This time it comes as "Project Urban Warfare" and of course again appropriately with a fat LS3 6.2L V8 engine. Based on a Defender 110, the vehicle is painted completely in Nocturnal black and on an 18-inch Startech Monostar wheel set on all-terrain tires. However, a decision was made regarding the chassis against An air suspension and installed the already known and individually adjustable sports suspension of Fox Suspensions with subtle Heerenlegung. If you compare this specimen with the one recently presented "Project Katama" so the visual impression is much darker because of the paint as we find.

The conversion is almost identical to the already known Defender conversions by ECD. I mean there is a robust roll bar this time, however, brings no LED auxiliary lights front. There are the well-known Air-con bumpers front and rear, of course new LED headlights in black and also an integrated WARN winch. On the side, step-on steps are facilitated and the body is decorated with fender flares all around and screwed to it with black-painted checker plate with air vents on the right and left of the new bonnet. The checker plate is also found in other parts of the vehicle and protects the body from any damage.

swiveling spare wheel carrier at the rear

And there is also protection for the rear windows which are completely provided with a grid. The rear view is dominated by a swiveling spare wheel carrier and in order to climb onto the roof there was a small ladder on the left side and for a better view when loading 2 LED auxiliary lights. Under the hood, the Defender shows with a brand new Corvette LS3 V8 engine including 6 automatic gearbox gearbox and thus ensures proper propulsion. And so that this engine also gets a befitting soundscape installed ECD one Borla Performance sports exhaust system with a tailpipe on the left. And the interior of the rustic Brit has also been completely restored and refurbished. There are 2 Corbeau Trailcat sports seats in the front and a practical Puma back seat in the second row. Everything is covered with Spinneybeck Sabrina leather in black with diamond quilting.

Infotainment system with Apple CarPlay

On the other hand, there are no seats on the loading area this time, which means that this specimen has even more storage space. For this purpose, a pull-out box system has been installed in the vehicle floor that can accommodate a lot of useful accessories. And from a technical point of view, too, the cabin has been breathed new life. There is an Alpine infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and an associated JL audio system with high-quality speakers as well as new tweeters and a subwoofer. Once again, ECD Automotive Design is creating an absolutely unique piece that will bring joy to the owner for a long time. If we receive timely information on further changes not mentioned so far, there will of course be an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
