radford

Harold Radford Coachbuilders (known as: Radford) was a British coachbuilder. In the years from 1948 to 1975 Radford produced various special bodies for Rollce Royce, Bentley and Aston Martin. The Radford Shooting Brake versions, which were based on older Aston Martin coupes, were particularly well known. And the conversions of various minis were also part of the company. Between 1990 and 2000 the name Radford came back, as the British designer Chris Humberstone took over the naming rights and sold upgraded minis under the old Radford name "De Ville". And currently (as of 2020) Radford is run by Formula 1 driver Jenson Button, designer Mark Stubbs, engine specialist Ant Anstead and lawyer Roger Behle, and one of the first vehicles is the Radford Type 62-2 based on the Lotus Evora. It will be interesting to see what will come next.
