We have to show you this breathtaking 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback from the famous Ringbrothers. Because the under the project name "Copperback“Well-known classic is one of the best Restomod Mustangs ever. And that's no wonder. Because anyone who deals with the tuning of classic US vehicles has not been able to ignore the vehicles of the Ringbrothers for years. The company based in the tranquil Spring Green (Wisconsin) acts as a vehicle refiner and parts supplier and has mutated in recent years from a barn workshop to one of the best tuners for classic muscle cars. Ringbrothers 'custom cars can be seen at all major auto shows and in specialist magazines, and the Ringbrothers' high-quality accessories also enjoy an excellent reputation. And this reputation is also reflected in the Copperback Mustang.

Copper Burnt Orange Metallic

The project originally started in 2007 when the Mustang's window ledges, water drainage channels and door handles were removed. Then there was a Gemini Technology Systems bonnet and tailgate made of carbon fiber. Over time, other body modifications were made, such as the modified air intakes in the side walls, the shortened front bumper and the paneling of the underbody. After the changes to the body were made, the Mustang was wrapped in a chic Copper Burnt Orange Metallic with Glasurit paint and also received dark gray accents such as on the bonnet, the side skirts or the rear spoiler.

Baer 6S sports sports brake system

And the Fastback also has slightly darkened windows, there were chic accents made of billet aluminum and, as a highlight, a specially made three-part 19-inch iForged wheel set with black powder-coated star and high-gloss rim beds. And right behind the new aluminum is a Baer 6S sports brake system with monoblock brake calipers and ceramic pads as well as slotted and perforated 15-inch discs at the front and 14-inch discs at the rear. And of course the powerful braking system also has a reason. This sits under the long hood with power dome. A 427 cubic inch V8 engine from Roush Performance with aluminum cylinder heads, electronic fuel injection, individual throttle system and ceramic-coated Magnaflow exhaust manifolds is now at work here.

with Tremec five-speed manual transmission

The engine is coupled to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, which transmits power to the rear wheels via a 9-inch rear end with a Currie Ford differential and a gear ratio of 3,55: 1. And, as befits its standing, the Mustang's cabin has also changed extensively. The classic is presented with an interior designed by Steve Pearson (Upholstery Limited) with brown and black leather, there are sporty bucket seats and modern four-point seat belts. Completely new instruments with a central Ferrari-style tachometer and a beautiful specially made aluminum sports steering wheel with leather cover. The completely new cabin is appropriately rounded off with many carbon details.
