'Uncaged' conversion: Ringbrothers 1965 Ford Mustang convertible!

Ringbrothers, known for impressive Restomod projects, have struck again and after 14 months are presenting a 'Uncaged' christened piece of jewelry as an impressive new interpretation of the 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible. The project, the successor to the 'Caged', is a highlight of this year's SEMA Show and the construction time of the Mustang convertible was more than 4.000h. The heart of the unique, one 5,0 liter Coyote V8 from Ford Performance, generates violent 460 PS at 7.000 rpm and a torque of 569 Nm at 4.600 rpm. The whole thing is visually highlighted by an individually manufactured engine cover.

The engine is supported by a 10-speed automatic transmission from Ford, which puts the power on the Rear wheels transmits. But Ringbrothers hasn't just made changes under the hood. The Mustang has a new one Chassis from Roadster Shop, including heavily revised Front and an Independent suspension all around. Other technical highlights are high quality Penske Racing performance shock, a Woodward steering and Baer sports brakes with 14 inch (approx. 36 cm) discs and six-piston calipers at the front and rear. And specially manufactured ones ensure optimal traction 18 inch rims, With the Continental tires are equipped.
