Since the presentation of the sixth generation of the Ford Bronco in 2020, there have been countless aftermarket parts. And the list is now over u-shaped fiberglass door inserts grown. Manufactured by the tuner Anderson Composites, the doors are inspired by an option offered by Ford in the 60s. The so-called "Roadster Doors" are equipped with four-door Broncos (Model year 2021-2023) compatible and Anderson Composites indicates that a set for the two-door will also be available by the end of 2023. The special door inserts are made of fiberglass and are therefore relatively light. They fit the factory door hinges and are therefore easy to install. Installed, the Roadster Doors give the Bronco some old-school flair.
'Roadster Doors' for the Ford Bronco
The Bronco Roadster (internally U13), which was only built for a short time, had similar doors at the time. According to Anderson Composites, the front doors weigh about 7 kg and the rear about 6 kg. In comparison, the OEM parts with screen, speakers and fairing weigh around 24 kg. Prices for the Roadster Doors start at $1.099 for the front pair and $1.099 for the rear pair. In addition, there are shipping and taxes, painting and, if applicable, the installation costs. As an alternative to the "tube doors" available from Ford, we think it's a cool thing.
