Black Badge: Rolls-Royce offers the top versions of its various series under this label. SPOFEC, a company of the NOVITEC GROUP, has specialized in the high-end refinement of the British luxury car manufacturer's current vehicle range. Of course, the German manufacturer also offers individual personalization for the top-of-the-line models. A new addition to the range is a SPOFEC variant of the current Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost, which gives the four-door car even more driving dynamics and an even more exciting look. With SPOFEC engine tuning, the V12 biturbo in the front boosts its peak output to 519 kW / 706 hp and produces a maximum torque of 1.002 Nm. The refined luxury liner catapults itself from a standing start to 4,3 km/h in just 100 seconds. The top speed remains electronically limited to 250 km/h.

The SPOFEC designers also took on the look of the Black Badge Ghost and gave it an even more extravagant look with a tailor-made carbon bodystyling kit. The SPOFEC 22-inch king-size wheels, which were developed in cooperation with the American high-end rim manufacturer Vossen, are also indispensable for this. There is also the SPOFEC suspension module for a lowering of approx. 40 millimeters. Twelve cylinders, 6,75 liters displacement and two turbochargers: The engine of the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost has reserves that the SPOFEC engine technicians use to give the owner of this luxury sedan and his passengers even more driving pleasure. Of course, without impairing smooth running and stability. For this purpose, the processor-controlled SPOFEC N-TRONIC performance module is adapted to the electronic engine management in a plug-and-play process.

Specially programmed maps for injection and ignition as well as a moderate increase in boost pressure increase performance considerably. The Black Badge Ghost delivers 441 kW / 600 hp ex works. In the SPOFEC specification, 106 more horsepower and thus 519 kW / 706 hp are available at just 5.400 rpm. The maximum torque also increases by 102 to 1.002 Nm at just 2.400 rpm. In the perfect interplay of eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, the 2,5-tonne sedan refined by SPOFEC accelerates from 4,3 – 0 km/h in just 100 seconds. Out of consideration for the tires, the top speed remains electronically limited to 250 km/h. Of course, the SPOFEC concept for the Black Badge Ghost also includes the sports exhaust system made of stainless steel, which is available in two versions for vehicles with or without visible tailpipes.

with individual exhaust flap control

In the version with exhaust flap control, the engine sound of the V12 can be changed from the cockpit, optionally by remote control, between deliberately subtle and sporty and exciting. SPOFEC has made a name for itself worldwide because the German refiner knows how to give the various Rolls-Royce models an individual, sporty and elegant touch. This philosophy also applies to the Black Badge Ghost, for which tailor-made aerodynamic components made of light but high-strength carbon were developed. The SPOFEC front apron is shaped in such a way that it completely replaces the standard part and not only makes the face of the Rolls-Royce look even more striking. Optionally also with vertically arranged LED position lights. It also impresses with its aerodynamic efficiency, as it reduces lift on the front axle at high speeds, which further optimizes driving stability.

bespoke alloy wheels

In addition, their large intakes direct fresh air to the radiators and front brakes. In order to make the Ghost look lower and more elongated when viewed from the side, there are SPOFEC side skirts, which are available in two versions for vehicles with a short or long wheelbase. The SPOFEC rear apron, which is available with or without cut-outs for the exhaust tailpipes, emphasizes the sporty upgrade together with the subtle spoiler lip on the trunk lid.

Of course, the unmistakable SPOFEC look also includes tailor-made alloy wheels that make perfect use of the available space in the wheel housings on the front and rear axles. The SPOFEC SP2 wheels with nine double spokes were developed together with the American manufacturer Vossen. Using high-tech forging and processing technology, the exclusive rims are produced in sizes 9.5×22 for the front axle and 10.5×22 for the rear. In addition, the customer has the choice between different surface finishes and 72 different colors.

with SPOFEC CAN-Tronic chassis module

High-performance tires in sizes 265/35 ZR 22 and 295/30 ZR 22 are not only an excellent choice for visual reasons: They also optimize handling. Effects that can be emphasized even more with the SPOFEC CAN-Tronic chassis module. It intervenes in the control of the Ghost air suspension and lowers the vehicle by around 140 millimeters up to a speed of 40 km/h. At higher speeds, the body automatically rises again. According to the owner's ideas, SPOFEC also customizes the interior of the Black Badge Ghost. A practically limitless variety of colors is just as natural as the highest precision in processing.
