If this is not a Mustang then we do not know! We present the Ford Mustang 729 Wide Body TriAthlete from the tuner Roush Performance. And of course the name is here program! Of course, the addition 729 has its reason for being significantly superior to 700 PS in this green bullet. It was inspiring Roush performance on the 1970er Ford Mustang Boss 429 in the legendary Grabber Green and with at least 375 PS.
But the current version is a whole lot thicker! The wide body kit and of course the massive air scoop on the bonnet are extremely noticeable. Under this hood the supercharged 5,0-liter V8 breathes, which has been persuaded to significantly more power by a lot of revision. In other words, the V8 engine got a cold air supply, a compressor kit developed with Ford Performance, a new sports exhaust system, new engine software, etc. and, thanks to these settings, delivers around 740 hp. And as already mentioned, the body has also been significantly revised.
There were some carbon fiber parts and a bodywork integrated Roush Performance Stratasys body kit. In addition, Recaro racing seats, a roll cage and 20-inch alloy wheels are fitted with ultrafast Continental tires. Apart from the details just mentioned, we are currently not aware of any more specific details of the conversion so that we leave you with the pictures alone. 🙂 If we get details about further changes, there is of course an update for this story.
