following the delta4x4 press release
If you want to drive silently and emission-free through forest and desert, you need an all-terrain electric car. Calling the Tesla Y an SUV would probably be an exaggeration - but this could change if you consider the conversion of delta4x4. The newly developed suspension distance kit raises the vehicle by approx. 35 mm and, together with a wheel spacer, makes it possible to mount wheels that raise the vehicle by a total of approx. 8 cm. This gives you approx. 22 cm ground clearance - that's Lada Niva level. For this purpose, delta4x4 uses Continental tires in size 265/45R20 with the Cross Contact ATR profile. The ATR allows the vehicle to continue cruising comfortably on country roads and motorways, but gives the "Y" the freedom to move confidently on well-worn forest paths, over meadows and muddy country lanes.
all around with wheel arch extensions
In order to accommodate the wider rims and tires, delta4x4 developed shapely wheel arch extensions, which also widen the vehicle by approx. 60 mm. In order to make the vehicle more suitable for expeditions, delta4x4 has developed a solid roof rack that can also transport the dead deer or wild boar if necessary. This is also suitable for sand sheets, sand shovels, water canisters, boxes and, if necessary, also for a roof tent. Headlights can be mounted on the roof rack, which ensure perfect light on off-road tours. The Japanese PIAA LED headlights used by delta4x4 are among the most solid auxiliary lights on the market.
