Assuming you want to have this vehicle built by a tuner, what would you have to write in the order? “The complete program + 50%, please”? "My Ford Mustang has to be more powerful than a Ford F-150"? Or maybe: "Please attach all attachments from your catalog to my vehicle"? Something like that must have been the main idea of the Instagram user "m86_unicorn" when the decision was made to convert the Mustang convertible into a brutal widebody monster. The result is an extremely broad floor that is likely to meet with a lot of approval but with rejection and we will already with one completely crazy bicycle rack attracted attention a year ago. Back then we tried to get the most important information with which the muscle car became an absolute one-off and only partially found what we were looking for.
"M86_Unicorn" project
For example, there were the fender flares attached with exposed screw connections, the huge spoiler lip, the powerful side skirts, the large ducktail spoiler lip and the huge rear apron attachment. As far as we know, the components all come from the manufacturer clinched and are already presented to us from 2017 Black fury mustang known. The "Unicorn" project received the radiator grille from RTR, including the striking LED vent lights, but for 2020 there is a new one with round daytime running lights and a Mustang emblem. You can still see it huge Vis Carbon bonnet with power domes, quick-release fasteners and air openings and the owner still relies on a lowering by means of AirLift-Performance Airride air suspension. New, however, is the foiling in the beautiful chrome blue with the two white stripes.
over 700 HP with compressor
It was applied a few months after we reported about the Mustang and only really puts the unique piece in the limelight. And right now the Mustang is wearing the new Clinched Spider Top for a walk, which turns the pony car into a roadster in Speedster style, but is apparently still compatible with the electric hood. Only the back seat can no longer be used. With countless other changes such as a subtle increase in performance by means of a compressor kit to over 700 PS, the multi-part BC Forged Wheels forged wheels installed from the start and successful accents in the interior, the 2020 season for "m86_unicorn" can well begin. These are the changes to:
- Carbon widebody kit (bumper base with integrated front spoiler, fender flares in the front with ventilation shafts, side skirts, flares for the rear side walls with air openings, spoiler lip in ducktail style, radiator grille with distinctive round Mach 1 style lights, massive diffuser)
- Full-wrap around
- approx. 20 inch large BC Forged Wheels wheelset (black matt & gold)
- Sport exhaust system (more information is not available)
- Carbon bonnet with power dome, air vents and quick-release buckles right and left (Vis Carbon)
- Airride air suspension from AirLift Performance
- ProCharger compressor system
- new brake system
- Sport exhaust system including Kooks exhaust manifold
