When I proudly called my first vehicle (Opel Vectra B) my own in 1998, I was always keen to trace the tire manufacturer's lettering with a white tire pen. An extremely arduous job that was rewarded after 1-2 weeks at the latest by peeling and yellowing. 😣 Almost 20 years later, there are much simpler solutions for this by using self-adhesive tire stickers or spray paint in connection with stencils. And as we did with the recently featured M4 Coupe on Avant Guard Wheels M621 rims, them Audi R8 V10 by Brixton Forged Wheels or even that Liberty Walk Mini Cooper R56 this trend is apparently coming back into fashion. The recently presented Nissan GT-R on 20 inch Vorsteiner V-FF 103 rims in carbon graphite got a wheel set whose type designation was highlighted in white. The new wheel set-up looks extremely sporty and in connection with a subtle lowering, as well as a carbon body kit, the Japanese coupe has an even sportier appearance. Incidentally, the body kit consists of a conspicuous spoiler lip for the front bumper, side skirts, a rear spoiler and a conspicuous diffuser with 5 horizontal fins. In addition, the side markings at the rear and the front indicators have been darkened in black and, especially in connection with the white painted body, the vehicle looks absolutely harmonious and yet discreet. If we get more information about the modifications to the GT-R, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
