A decision we really do not want to make! M3 or GT-R? Biturbo V6 or high-speed V8? Japanese engine design or German? Preferably both! Not only we, surely many of you would decide exactly the same, right? But the questions go further. If you modify a car, which style is the right one? OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or JDM (Japanese Domestic Market)? Too good German -> fat widebody kit or just subtle aerodynamic parts? Or neither?
The following pictures show you a nice Godzilla Nissan GT-R from Duke Dynamics and an E92 M3 with extreme bodykit and classically wide wheel arches. In contrast to the well-known Widebodykits of Rocket Bunny, Liberty Walk, Rough Weltbegriff etc. There are no exposed screw connections to be seen here, but everything looks like it is made from one piece. The body kit also comes from Duke Dynamics and is even available in two versions. The “cheaper” variant comes as a fiberglass set, and those who have a little more capital available opt for ultra-light carbon with or without exposed carbon elements.
The body kit consists of nine parts and includes a M4 Style front bumper, large side skirts, a rear apron with diffuser insert and of course all around the fender flares which make the M3 about 10 cm wider. Not the body kit, however, includes the large Aeromotion GT rear wing which provides plenty of contact pressure. Other changes to the M3 include black kidneys and gills from the BMW Performance USA Regal as well as a cool red Makes fast towing loop in the front apron. If you look closely, you can also see new Angel Eyes headlights that can be bought at AutoTecknik, and the M3 got the rear lights from the facelift model (LCI Life Cycle Impulse - LED technology in indicators and brake lights).
And the suspension setup has also been extensively revised and so there was a KW coilover kit of variant 3, which, in conjunction with a phenomenal MORR Wheels wheel set in red, not only enables more performance but also a lot more optics. If you look closely you can see that the rims even fill the significantly widened wheel arches down to the last millimeter and that is also due to the proud dimensions. There were 9,5 x 20 inches at the front and the M3 had 11 x 20 inch rollers with correspondingly fat tires at the rear. The decision was made for Pilot Supersport tires from Michelin in the 285 / 25-20 format at the front and a massive 325 / 25-20 at the rear.
An eyecatcher in our opinion are also the Project Kics NeoChrom wheel nuts which are only really visible the second time you look. Another highlight is clearly located under the Vorsteiner bonnet with its large air openings and the typical power dome. The V8 was given a huge boost because the ESS Tuning Compressor Kit VT1-550 raged with a boost pressure of 0,4 bar, now a whopping 410 kW (552 PS) and 515 Nm of torque under the hood. There was also a water-methanol injection and a high-quality complete exhaust system from Innotech Performance Exhaust, including a remote-controlled exhaust flap control.
It goes without saying that the whole load also needs to be brought to a standstill and so there was a Brembo GT brake system with yellow brake calipers and slotted brake discs for the best deceleration values. And some things are different inside too. A BMW Performance sports steering wheel with digital gearshift indicator, red Recaro Pole Position bucket seats were installed and the rest comes from the factory thanks to elegant M equipment. You can't do more with an E92 M3! And the GT-R?
We don't know anything about that 🙁 You can see a carbon body kit that consists of a front apron, side skirts, rear wing, carbon tailgate and diffuser - but like the black rims or the lowering Duke Dynamics to give any details. If we receive timely information about the GT-R there is of course an update for this story. About the update you will be informed if yours Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
