Novitec tuner has the 2019 NOVITEC McLaren 720S Spider with 806 PS & 878 NM taken to the chest again. The result is a spectacular wide version with Forged Carbon elements and concave high-tech forged wheels as N-LARGO. N-LARGO: Under this type designation, the German high-end refiner NOVITEC has always developed spectacular wide versions for the most exciting super sports cars in the world. And from now on there is also a tailor-made N-LARGO version for the McLaren 15S Spider in a print run of only 720 copies worldwide. The spectacular, wide version made of carbon not only impresses with its perfect design in the wind tunnel: Forged carbon elements give the open two-seater a particularly individual look. In cooperation with the American wheel manufacturer Vossen, tailor-made high-tech forged rims were developed especially for the enlarged wheel arches. The combination of 20 and 21 inch wheels on the front and rear axles emphasizes the wedge shape of the racing car even more.
806 PS & 878 Nm torque
The NOVITEC N-LARGO is not only one of the most exciting supercars due to its unusual design: on request, there is also a high performance program for the 4.0 liter V8 biturbo: In the most powerful version, the driver commands over 592 kW / 806 hp peak performance. The maximum torque increases to 878 Nm. This catapults the N-LARGO from a standing start to 2,7 km / h in just 100 seconds, and 200 km / h can be reached in just 7,5 seconds. The top speed increases to 346 km / h. NOVITEC high-performance exhaust systems in various versions up to the extremely light INCONEL exhaust system not only give the vehicle an even more exciting engine sound, but also contribute to optimized power delivery. Other NOVITEC options include lowering through specially matched sport springs and individualization of the cockpit in a practically unlimited variety of colors. NOVITEC once again cooperated with the German designer Vittorio Strosek for the development of the body conversion, which is particularly light thanks to the use of carbon.

The finished vehicle is not only fascinating due to its sophisticated design, which has been optimized in the wind tunnel: with six centimeters more in front and thirteen centimeters extra on the rear axle, the sports car looks even more spectacular from every perspective. The front fenders and rear side parts of the wide version have been designed to completely replace the standard parts. In the larger wheel arches there is then space for the MC2 forged wheels with central locking optics specially manufactured for NOVITEC N-LARGO by wheel partner Vossen. Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, these bikes offer an outstanding combination of lightweight construction and strength. They are available in many different colors, optionally with a brushed or polished surface. The N-LARGO wide version enables the 12Jx21 wheels on the rear axle to have an extremely concave wheel star with seven filigree double spokes. They are equipped with Pirelli P ZERO high-performance tires of size 325/25 ZR 21. One inch smaller in diameter are the nine-inch wide MC2 forged wheels on the front axle, which emphasize the wedge-shaped look of the two-seater even more and also have a concave rim star.

The size 245/30 ZR 20 was chosen for the tires. The wider N-LARGO fenders on the front and rear axles, together with special side skirts, give the two-seater an exciting wasp waist. The N-LARGO side panels not only form a perfect transition between the wider fenders: their integrated ventilation openings direct the airstream to the rear brake discs and calipers. The NOVITEC air inlets behind the doors supply the engine compartment with breathing and cooling air. The focus of the body conversion was not only an extravagant appearance, but also the optimization of driving dynamics through efficient modifications to the aerodynamics. The face of the English sports car becomes even more distinctive thanks to an extensive design package: the NOVITEC N-LARGO front apron completely replaces the standard bumper and connects perfectly to the wider fenders of the wide version. In keeping with the new front, an extreme forward sword has been developed that further improves driving stability at high speeds.
Forged carbon with exceptional look
By using Forged Carbon, a particularly unusual look is achieved, which is continued on all exposed carbon elements of the wide version. This includes not only the newly designed trunk lid with Forged Carbon insert at the front, but also the covers for the side mirrors, the lower strips on the sills, the N-LARGO rear wing attachment for the standard, extendable spoiler and the air intakes at the rear. The wide fenders of the wide version are adapted to the rear bumper using special attachments on the left and right. In addition, NOVITEC also offers a forged carbon version of the diffuser. The exciting look of the NOVITEC N-LARGO is emphasized even more by sport springs that lower the open 720S by approx. 35 millimeters. But the refined mid-engine sports car not only fascinates with its unique look, but also with its superior performance: The McLaren four-liter eight-cylinder engine with two turbochargers offers an excellent starting point for professional tuning à la NOVITEC. The range for the 720S Spider includes three different performance levels, all of which are based on the NOVITEC N-TRONIC additional control unit, which is adapted to the vehicle's electronic engine management using the plug & play process.

The module controls the engine with performance-optimized maps for injection and ignition and moderately increases the electronic boost pressure limitation. The strongest performance level also includes a NOVITEC RACE high-performance exhaust system, which allows the engine to breathe more freely and further optimizes the performance. The conversion releases 63 kW / 86 hp more peak power and a 108 Nm higher maximum torque. The biturbo thus delivers a powerful 592 kW / 806 hp at just 6 700 rpm. The maximum torque increases to 878 Nm. Performance and lightweight construction give the NOVITEC N-Largo Roadster unique driving performance: 2,7 seconds are enough to accelerate the two-seater to 100 km / h. The 7,5 km / h mark is reached 200 seconds after the take-off. The top speed is 346 km / h. In everyday driving, the NOVITEC performance increase fascinates not only through the further improved driving performance, but also through an even more spontaneous response and an even more powerful pull.

With or without an increase in performance, a NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system tailor-made for the 720S Spider is an excellent recommendation. It reduces the exhaust gas back pressure and is therefore performance-optimizing. In addition, it produces an even more powerful engine sound. The exhaust system with two tailpipes with a diameter of 95 millimeters, optionally in polished stainless steel or matt black, is completely thermally insulated in order to reduce the temperature in the engine compartment. The sports exhaust is optionally made of stainless steel or the even lighter INCONEL used in Formula 1. In addition, the NOVITEC program for the McLaren 720S Spider includes lighter and more efficient sports catalysts. NOVITEC also offers individual exclusivity for the N-LARGO interior.
