On Bring a trailer there is once again a breathtaking vehicle up for auction. A 1955 Jeep Willys Pickup with the technology of a Jeep Wrangler from 2014. And of course, the vehicle has clearly been meticulously restored and rebuilt from scratch. There are also incredibly successful photos and nothing should stand in the way of high sales proceeds. Customized down to the last detail, the Willys Jeep was imported to the United States earlier this year by the Alberta, Canada dealer and will be delivered in Portland, Oregon, with customs documents, a comprehensive assessment and an Idaho title Bring a trailer sold. It has only run 26.000 miles (approx. 42.000 km) and is probably one of the most striking pickups that is currently for sale anywhere. A chassis and the drive train of a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited are the basis for the body. Specifically, the well-known 3,6-liter Pentastar V6 from the Jeep shelf is specifically installed, which generates a huge increase in performance thanks to an additional RIPP compressor, downpipes and a sports exhaust system.

Unfortunately, the exact result of the increase in performance is unknown. In other words, we don't know how much horsepower and how much torque the six-cylinder generates. Therefor we know a few other pieces of information. For example, that the V6 transfers the power to all four wheels by means of a five-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The body is slightly wider on the outside and has Poison Spider bumpers installed. At the rear there is also a swiveling spare wheel carrier and the roof, in contrast to the fire-red body, is contrasted in black. It continues with a modified bonnet, there were Wrangler door handles and rear-view mirrors, electrically retractable steps, rear lights from model A, ultra-modern HID headlights and, as a highlight, new wheels. 17 inch beadlock aluminum rims in black with Willys wheel covers including mighty 35 inch (0,89 m) Toyo C / T Open Country tires and in combination with a 3,5 inch (approx. 9 cm) Rock Krawler long arm are specially installed -Kit including compressor for the desired lift kit.

And the interior of the classic with loading area has also been extensively modified. The team from "Cascade Vans and Interiors of Calgary“Who installed brown and black leather as well as a matching headliner, door panels, a partition and a new center console. Of course, everything here comes from a Jeep Wrangler too. Other notable changes are the load compartment cover, which is completely sprayed with a protective layer, there was a new brake system with ABS all around and a new instrument cluster with a speedometer up to 180 km / h is also installed. Even a state-of-the-art sound system with Jeep infotainment display including Bluetooth and navigation system is part of the conversion. And finally ... an enviable one-off in search of a new owner.
