The introduction of the Suzuki GSX-8R promises a new era for lovers of mid-range sports motorcycles. With a mix of timeless elegance and innovative technology, the bike honors more than 35 years of history GSX-R series and at the same time ushers in a future in which design and performance must be measured against new standards. At the heart of the GSX-8R is something 776cc inline twin cylinder, which is the balance between performance and drivability. With a peak performance of 83 hp (61 kW) at 8.500 revolutions and a maximum torque of 78 NM at 6.800 revolutions, the engine sets new standards in the segment.

The engine benefits from this 270 degrees crank pin offset and a coordinated ignition sequence that promises low torque and optimized traction, supported by the Suzuki cross balancer, which ensures both smoothness and agility. The Suzuki GSX-8R presents itself visually in one aerodynamically optimized full fairing, inspired by the machines of racing. Each element, from the hexagonal ones LED headlights to sporty ones rear End, fits into the overall picture of a dynamic and future-oriented look. The aerodynamic properties have been perfected in numerous wind tunnel tests and result in perfect high-speed stability and a low drag coefficient.

The modern assistance systems of the standard one Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) allow individual adaptation of the vehicle characteristics. With features like that Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), the Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS) and the Bi-directional quick shift system, the GSX-8R delivers an impressive array of technological tools. And for the frame, Suzuki relies on one torsion-resistant steel frame, which provides comfort even on long journeys through targeted flexibility. In combination with one SHOWA upside-down fork, a specially shaped lightweight Aluminum swing arm and Cast aluminum wheels with Dunlop RoadSport 2 radial tires, the GSX-8R stands for playful handling and excellent driving characteristics.

Last but not least, that full color 5 inch TFT multifunction instrument sets standards in terms of information and usability, which also puts the GSX-8R at the top of its class in terms of technology. The GSX-8R is expected from dealers Spring 2024, with a starting price of €9.800 plus additional costs and in three color variants: Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Mat Sword Silver, and Metallic Mat Black No.2.
