The evolution of dynamics: the KTM 990 Duke MY 2024 is here!

With the idea of new KTM 990 Duke For 2024, KTM is manifesting its claim to redefine the limits of what is possible. The revised Duke relies on that LC8c engine the 890 Duke R and expands it 58 cubic centimeters, additional 2 PS performance and 4 Nm Torque. The devil is in the details: it delivers the extra power new in-line two-cylinder even at lower speeds, which noticeably increases driving dynamics. Out of 947 cubic centimeters displacement he creates 123 PS and generated 103 Nm torque. What's particularly cool is that the maximum torque is available at 6.750 revolutions per minute - a clear sign of improved drivability and confidence in the saddle.

The consumption? KTM gives a homologated value of economical 4,7 liters per 100 kilometers at. An appropriate accommodation for the engine is ensured newly developed frame from Chrome molybdenum steel, supplemented by a Cast aluminum rear. A novelty is that it is installed within the frame tubes Swing arm mounting, which supports the new, more flexible swingarm - it's over 35 percent more flexible than the predecessor. The change enables a good balance of stiffness and flexibility and contributes to the perfect chassis geometry. The Chassis components come from the WP Apex series.

Forks with 140 millimeters of travel each

The directly hinged suspension strut and the Gabel with each 140 millimeters of travel bring adjustable preload and rebound, which allows for individual adjustment. When it comes to tires, KTM sticks to the dimensions 120/70ZR17 front and 180/55ZR17 rear but still faithful. At the Bremsanlage They decided to strike a balance between efficiency and performance by... 300 discs the GP variant takes over. And in the field of electronics it is 990 Duke in no way inferior to the competition. With a comprehensive Stability program, included MSC and Cornering ABS as well as three standard ones Driving modesthat around additional modes can be expanded, it sets standards.

the new KTM face makes its mark

This becomes a visual identification mark new KTM face, a futuristic one front mask with two rounds Led Lamps, supported by LED daytime running lights. The 990 Duke stands out not only technically but also visually Predecessors, but also the competitors away. Although the price for 2024 has not yet been determined, the 990 Duke is likely to be within a range that reflects the value of the innovations. Fans are eagerly awaiting what further details KTM will reveal.
