Already crazy where the time has gone. A VW Golf MK1 GTi at that time was the top model of the series and had an output of 110PS & 137NM torque (1976–1982) with an empty weight of only 790 to a maximum of 930kg. It went to 10 km / h in a brisk 100 seconds and only ended at 183km / h. Today the MK7 R360S represents the current top model of the Golf (at least in Switzerland) and impresses with a huge 360PS & 460NM torque, which means that it goes to 4,7 km / h in just 100 seconds and the whole thing is only pushed electronically at 265 km / h. The total weight of the MK7 is around 1500kg, almost twice as high as that of the Mk1. But if you still lend a hand on the MK7 R36, there is much more in it, as the tuner EAH-Customs from Heilbad Heiligenstadt in Thuringia showed us on his website yesterday. He took a current R36 with standard 300PS & 380NM to his chest and gave it a few chic details.

The MK7 was already equipped with a full performance increase to 380PS and even makes the R360S look old. The extra power of 80PS was achieved by means of AGA from turbo, an R600 intake and of course a chip tuning. EAH also supplied a St Suspension coilover kit of the XA variant and a KW DCC decommissioning kit. The tires were converted from 235/35 19 to 225/35 19 and the difference in the tire width is canceled out again by means of track plates on the rear axle. Nice details like the black VW emblems or an upholstered steering wheel, which was also covered with Alcantara, impressively round off the EAH R36. There isn't much more to say about the car so we leave it with the photo story. If we get even more information about further modifications made to the R36 MK7, there is of course, as always, an update for this post. The best thing is to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will be notified immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the photos.
