It's a more cost-effective option for those still looking for performance without the budget for the full-featured Demon 170 V8. It goes one step further in terms of value for money Hellcrate Hemi with 717 hp, which is available as a long block for $9.495. And for the purists who distance themselves from turbocharged engines, Dodge also has something on offer: the 392 and 345 Crate Hemi Long Blocks priced at $6.995 and $4.495 respectively.

However, the future sees a change in Dodge's offering. With the expiry of the HEMI V8 and the focus on electric drives, Dodge gives a preview of the upcoming double-charged Hurricane 3,0-liter inline-six. This will be available in two long-block versions with 420 hp (Cat 1) and a hefty 550 hp (Cat 3), with prices ranging from $6.495 to $8.995.
