Fans of the Simcade racing game Gran Turismo 7 have reason to rejoice. Developer Polyphony Digital has it Update 1.35 released, which includes two legendary rally cars from Japan as well as an F1 technology hypercar. Since 2022, PlayStation players have been able to experience the thrill of racing in a new Gran Turismo version, but with the latest update, the gaming experience just got even better. The most exciting additions to the update are the new vehicles: the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 3 GSR from 1995 and the Subaru Impreza WRX STi from 2004, both legendary rally cars from Japan. Fans can look forward to a unique driving experience as both are now available in the GT Café. And the update also includes an absolute highlight for lovers of high-performance racing cars: the Aston Martin Valkyrie. The hybrid sports car with an impressive 1.155 hp was developed in cooperation with the Formula 1 world champion team Red Bull Racing and the designer Adrian Newey. A V12 engine is hidden under the hood, supplemented by an electric drive and technology from the Croatian supplier Rimac.

Update 1.35 in Gran Turismo 7 brings Rally Legends

The Valkyrie is more than just a racing car. F1 star designer Adrian Newey designed both the body and the underbody of the road model, which is limited to 150 units. Thanks to the sophisticated design of the front and rear wings and venturi ducts, the Valkyrie generates around 1.100 kg of downforce at a top speed of 344 km/h. Unfortunately nothing has come of the plans for long-distance races like the 24-hour race in Le Mans. However, update 1.35 for Gran Turismo 7 does not only contain new vehicles. Players can also look up six new music rally events and try out two new backgrounds in photo mode: Monterey on the Cabrillo Highway in California, USA and the Field of Flowers in Hokkaido, Japan. With the exciting new features, update 1.35 is a great addition for all Gran Turismo 7 players. It remains to be seen what surprises Polyphony Digital will have in store in the future.

Of course, that wasn't the end of it!
