[Display] It is with a touch of enthusiasm in my fingers that I am writing this review of the Bluetti AC500 power station and the B300S auxiliary battery. Imagine endless power with a portable device. Sounds fantastic right? That is the AC500 – a powerhouse in your hands. The high-quality complete home storage set is a perfect companion for all those who long for an inexhaustible source of energy. Regardless of the situation - whether Indoor or outdoor, the AC500 is always ready to give its faithful service. And if you do it with the one we tested B300S battery extension pair, you have an impressive battery capacity of 3072 Wh. And when you use even four of these extensions, the performance jumps to incredible levels 12288 Wh. This makes a completely autonomous power supply a reality. However, the account balance also discharges massively! But more on that later.
AC500 power station + B300S auxiliary battery
The AC500 is a powerhouse that leaves no need unmet. It offers numerous outputs and, if desired, permanently high performance. You can easily run laptops back-to-back at least ３０ minutes charge and the charge cycles for smartphones are even more than ３０ minutes. And thanks to the permanently high AC power of 5.000 watts can even use the fridge for more than 30h be supplied with electricity. With the power station, you hardly have to worry about whether the power in the motorhome will reach the next campsite. Charging options such as solar panels allow you to be completely independent even in remote areas.

The new Bluetti app makes operating the power station even more convenient. You can use the AC500 (and many other Bluetti devices) just with your Smartphone via Bluetooth connect and you can control the power station. The app is suitable for both iOS and Android devices.
LCD display gives you an overview
One of my favorite features of the AC500 power station is the LCD display. It provides a quick overview of the battery status, date and time, AC and DC consumption display and the current charging status.
Carefree and easy charging thanks to numerous charging options
The battery modules offer versatile charging options including solar power, grid power, lead-acid batteries and even from the car. The option of double charge, approximately in parallel via solar panels and via the grid also possible. When the charge level reaches 100%, charging will stop automatically. Very practical and even if you think so, it's long gone not Of course!
Felt infinity of power supply with connection of up to four battery extensions at the same time
The Bluetti AC500 offers a perceived infinity of power supply, as it allows up to four battery extensions connect at the same time. The flexibility greatly expands the possibilities for electricity storage, which is particularly advantageous if one wants to obtain a significant proportion of the electricity from renewable sources such as solar energy. Incidentally, there are two special operating modes that complement this flexibility. The first reserved a certain “place” in the battery for the solar power. When the battery is empty, the mains power switches back on. This ensures that a certain proportion of the electricity can always be obtained from solar sources, even though the battery is empty.
The second mode of operation, known as 'Time Control' mode, allows you to set a start and end time within which the AC500 is allowed to charge on the grid. Outside of these times, the system will be used exclusively solar power operated. This provides another opportunity to minimize the use of grid power and maximize the use of solar power.
for a continuous output of 5.000 watts
Let's move on to the performance tests. According to Bluetti, the AC500 is good for a continuous output of 5.000 watts, and the inverter even manages the peak 10.000 watts,. Of course we tried it: Our test setup consisted of one 2.000 watt microwave, One 1.500 watt vacuum cleaner and a 1.000 watt hair dryer. The devices were operated at the same time and the power station withstood the load without any problems. When we then fired up a 2.000 watt deep fryer, the voltage collapsed and the power station switched off automatically. A few seconds later, however, we were able to activate the outputs again without any problems.
The charging of the AC500 via solar panel also worked completely smoothly in the test. With our approximately 200 watt (weak) panel, a full charge takes the whole day, so to speak, and sometimes even longer, but that roughly corresponds to the manufacturer's specifications. Bluetti doesn't indicate anything else either. According to Bluetti, the system tolerates up to 3.000 watts, which we couldn't try, however, because we didn't have enough solar panels available.
Conclusion and recommendation
With the AC500 and the B300s, Bluetti offers a modular system that can be flexibly expanded and is therefore individually can be adapted to your own needs. The performance values are impressive: With a Continuous output of 5.000 watts and an Peak power of up to 10.000 watts the power station provides enough electricity to even supply an entire family home. However, the price for the basic package of AC500 and B300s is not exactly cheap, as we already mentioned at the beginning. But for those looking for a durable, flexible and powerful solution for their power supply, the Bluetti system is a great option.
The advantages of the Bluetti AC500 and B300s are obvious: Solid workmanship, impressive performance values, easy operation both via the built-in display and via the app, and the option of flexibly expanding the system and adapting it to your own needs. The few cons like the high price of around €4.000 for both devices and the lack of password security for the Bluetooth connection can easily be compensated for by the many advantages. All in all, the Bluetti AC500 power station together with the B300s battery is an excellent solution for anyone who needs a reliable, powerful and flexible power supply. Overall, the Bluetti system scored in our test make an excellent impression!!!
