70er Motorhome to SEMA 2019 - "Brown Sugar"

What a completely insane thing! But that's exactly what belongs on the SEMA Auto Show, which runs until next Friday (November 08.11.2019th, 50). In addition to the countless aftermarket tuners, conversion companies, automobile manufacturers and suppliers of accessories of all kinds, things that bring the past to life are a real treat. And the “Brown Sugar” motorhome that can also be seen at SEMA is just such a treat. The basis is an extensively modified and completely restored Chevrolet PickUp with a large motorhome body that was brought to life for the first time almost XNUMX years ago. The one-off was built by the River City Rods & Fabrication company and the low-liner house with Airride was just shortly before the completion.

Color theme "Brown Sugar"

The result definitely rocks. The “Brown Sugar” color theme and the successful graphics, which are as brown and sweet as everyone's favorite chocolate, are an absolute highlight. Converting a rickety 1983 Chevy C-Class motorhome so excellently requires our deep respect. The guys from River City Rods (Davenport, Iowa) have been working towards SEMA for a long time and created a real one-off with the custom motorhome, including extra long trailer, the GM LS V8 5,3 liter under the hood and the improved 4L80E automatic . Crazy details like the Airride air suspension or the checkered prints on the seats and the rustic atmosphere inside rolling family home are, like the Coca-Cola sink, really unique.
