We have at the end of 2019 already reported about itthat tuner DREIHUNDERT from Dresden is working meticulously on a Supra which, despite the sharp increase in performance, should still have road approval. And now the monster with 781 HP and 900 Nm torque is actually (vorübergehend) finished. The vehicle was at the booth of the previous Essen Motor Show Turbo Centers to see and as "strongest street legal Supra MK V in the world"Declared. But how do you achieve a performance increase of over 100%? Definitely not just with simple chip tuning. THREE HUNDREDs, for example, use the in-house "Turbokit 300", which brings a BorgWarner EFR 8474 turbocharger from the TurboZentrum with an aluminum fuselage group as a highlight. He also has a forged and milled compressor wheel with extended tip technology as well as an internal wastegate and an electronic boost pressure control. Turbokit 300 as a highlight
Other new components include a downpipe, a Twinscroll T4 manifold, a 63 mm boost pressure pipe and new oil and water pipes. The unchanged air filter box is supplied by an 89 millimeter suction. And of course, many changes had to be made to the engine itself in order to withstand the enormous additional power. There were forged H-shaft connecting rods, modified Piston crowns for compaction reduction to 10,1: 1 and also the crank mechanism, the crankshaft, the cylinder liners up to the cylinder head have been extensively revised. However, most of these are the original BMW components (the B58 Supra engine comes from the Z4 M40i) and not parts from the accessories. However, the additional Aquamist water / methanol injection has nothing to do with the original. Only with this system is the output of 781 hp finally realized. And so that all new components also harmonize with each other, the OEM control unit was upgraded using the MHD flasher and elaborately coordinated by the PureBoost team from Köngen.
Still standard: the 8-speed automatic
The 8-speed automatic transmission is currently still standard. But since you are already planning further changes, this will change soon. THREE HUNDRED would like to promptly elicit +1.000 hp from the engine, whereby a new intake manifold and a new fuel supply should help. The best thing about the conversion is the fact that you don't really see it in the vehicle. There were none here eye-catching alloy wheels, it is not crazy foiling to see and also an extensive Wide body kit doesn't need this vehicle. The Supra, painted in bright lightning yellow, only had a few subtle lettering on the EMS and a lowering using the KW Variant 3 coilover kit. Even the 19-inch wheelset from the factory was still installed, only a powder coating in matt black and a set of spacers were added.
