And again a dreamlike floor comes from the distant Abu Dhabi. The BMW dealership of the same name "Abu Dhabi Motors" has issued a brand new F90 M5 Competition Sedan that you absolutely must see. From the factory, this M5 is something very special because we have never seen the individual-imolar-red paint on the F90. But with this vehicle there is still a lot more to marvel at. Because the most potent 625 hp - 5 series Tuningparts were installed by AC Schnitzer. As we know Schnitzer was one of the first tuners ever to have the first aerodynamic parts and an increase in performance in stock for the new M5 in the spring of this year. Actually, we are of the opinion that such a striking paintwork and striking spoilers on a business sedan have nothing to look for.
21 incher & ceramic brake
This M5 completely convinces us of the opposite because it just looks amazing! The large two-part front spoiler with carbon inlays and of course the 21-inch BiColor forged wheels Type VIII are immediately noticeable not subsequently attached. It looks quite different at the rear where AC Schnitzer also left his signature. Here, the carbon diffuser of the German tuner was installed and the stainless steel sports exhaust system including carbon tailpipes comes from the Schnitzer shelf. The same applies to the small roof spoiler painted in body color and only noticeable at second glance. Only the fixed Schnitzer rear spoiler in our opinion does not fit quite into the overall picture.
the rear spoiler is a matter of taste
He's in better hands on an M4 or a sporty M2. But in the end, of course, all matter of taste! At the moment we have no information about the sill swords, but we assume that they come from the M Performance Parts program. And clearly there was also a subtle lowering, but we are not aware of anything about this either. But the Schnitzer test vehicle from the beginning of the year was lowered using a KW prototype coilover kit, and the chassis or at least a set of sport springs may be installed on this M5. Under the bonnet, Schnitzer is known to provide a maximum of 700 PS & 850 NM torque by means of chip tuning and minor changes to the hardware.
also more power in the M5?
We can well imagine that this upgrade has also found its way into the vehicle to Abu Dhabi. Regarding more power for the V8 BiTurbo, however, not only Schnitzer is a good place to go. G-Power recently presented an increase in performance on 800 PS & 980 NM and tuners like DTE, RaceChip or Mcchip-DKR have already shown more or less extensive modifications for the S63B44Tx-V8. If we get more information on the Imolarot painted M5 from Abu Dhabi in a timely manner, there is of course as always an update for this report.
