So completely new is the Manhart MH4 550 based on the BMW M4 F82 coupe not. From the study in the year 2014 to the first MH4 (2015) passed only a few months and only a year later there was an even more violent version than MH4 650. With modified turbochargers, a new cooler, a stronger clutch and other details such as in-house chip tuning and of course a sports exhaust system, it went up to a whopping 658PS and 850NM torque (Power level 4) and thus in the league of various super athletes. But now we would like to show you another example that was built by MANHART Performance at the special request of a racing-obsessed customer.

Of course, this M4 is equipped with the S55-3,0-liter twin-turbo here by means of Stage 3 was pushed on 550 PS. The increase in performance results from a software remappings, a new full-carbon intake system from Eventuri and a catless downpipe that is only intended for the export market. This, of course, in combination with the MANHART rear mufflers made of stainless steel including damper control and ceramic-coated exhaust trims results in a crazy soundscape and also ensures reduced back pressure in the exhaust system.

The highlight of the system is the fact that a lot is wanted by means of post-injection Misfires to be generated. And the look of the Manhart power pack is unmistakable and completely trimmed for the racetrack. A was installed KW Variant 3 coilover suspension which is specially designed for fast cornering speeds and quick turning and has little to do with comfort. In terms of aerodynamics, there was an aggressive carbon front spoiler from M Performance and the well-known MANHART carbon bonnet including GTR air intakes.

The GTR louvres not only look good, they also give the engine better cooling. Rear there was a carbon diffuser and a fixed carbon rear spoiler already on MH2 630 Track Edition does its job. The M4 is rounded off with carbon air inlets in the bumper on the right and left, black kidneys and gills, carbon mirror caps and the well-known MANHART design with red decorative stripes and the emblems in front and behind instead of the BMW propeller. The visual highlight are definitely the red painted 19-inch M Performance rims that huddle perfectly in the wheel arch. And there are a lot of changes inside too.

You will be greeted by leather-covered red Recaro bucket seats with 4-point Schroth belts, an Alcantara M performance steering wheel with gearshift indicator and everywhere there is nice Sichtcarbon. The highlight here, however, is certainly the specially made roll cage in red which is therefore suitable for the external appearance of the MH4 and protects the occupants in the event of a rollover. The rear seat has been removed without further ado and installed at this point a fire extinguisher. The rest was covered with a red-leathered visor cover to the trunk.

With 550 PS and 820 NM, the MH4 550 is much stronger than the series-mates, and we may soon get the first lap times on various racetracks from this vehicle. If we get more details about the changes, there is, of course, an update for this report. It is best to subscribe to our feed and if there is something new you will get in touch immediately. We wish you a lot of fun watching the pictures.
