The Wuppertal tuning company Manhart has been breaking new ground more and more recently. Originally successful as a BMW tuner, the company is now increasingly modifying and refining vehicles from other makes. The latest example of this is Manhart TR750, a project vehicle based on the current Porsche 911 Turbo S (992 series). We would like to present this automobile to you in more detail today.
Manhart look on the exterior!
In any case, the 911 Turbo S looks very aggressive even without tuning, which is why Manhart Performance only made minor modifications to the body. In addition to the typical gold accents, which are typical for vehicles from the Wuppertal performance forge, still found Lowering springs from H&R the way into the Porsche. This reduced the ground clearance by 30 millimeters. Furthermore, the sound of the boxer engine was revised by a Kline sports exhaust system with downpipes found its way into the nine-eleven. The rims and large parts of the body remained series (until now), because Manhart concentrated on improving the performance and less on a shrill and unusual look with this project.
750 hp make the 992 a supercar killer
The 3,8-liter boxer petrol engine with six cylinders remained largely untouched, but Manhart Performance tickled with one Software Optimization another 100 hp from the legendary unit. This should improve the already brutal driving performance of the 992 Turbo S even further. Even with the production version, the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes an incredible 2,7 seconds and propulsion only ends at a hefty 330 kilometers per hour. Apparently this was Manhart, but not fast enough and so it was decided in Wuppertal to go one step further. Unfortunately, we have no information about the exact driving performance after the engine tuning.
Performance can be packaged so discreetly
In our eyes, this Porsche is a serious, discreet and everyday super sports car that can, if necessary, compete with various hypercars. Manhart has perfected an icon of automotive engineering even further with the tuning measures that have been taken. For that we give a thumbs up. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
