At the same time as the facelifted GranTurismo, the Italian manufacturer Maserati also lifted the elegant GranCabrio in 2017. The topless model was presented for the first time at the then Goodwood Festival of Speed and in particular immediately impressed the visitors on site with the new hexagonal grille in shark mouth design. But the rear with the new apron was also very popular compared to the VorFacelift. In addition, there was a new center console in the interior of the four-seater and, of course, under the hood the dreamy and handmade V8 naturally aspirated engine with a displacement of 4,7 liters and a whopping 460 hp and 520 Nm of torque.

Only with the factory-installed rims could you have been a little bolder. Because they are at least a number too well-behaved compared to the sporty, elegant look as we find. And apparently the team at mariani car styling seen from Kalletal near Hanover. The team members have pre-buttoned a GranCabrio and show what a perfect wheel-tire combination should look like on a € 140.000 convertible. They give the Italian a 10 × 20 inch three-piece forged wheel set with mighty 275 slippers on the front axle and the multi-part models are even installed in the 12 × 20 inch format with 335 tires. This gives 7,5 cm more contact surface and the wheel arches are perfectly used both inside and out.

The wheel set is the widest tire combination on 20 Zoll with TÜV approval for the GranCabrio and still guarantees optimal driving behavior. And so that this driving behavior can also be seen on the stopwatch, an Italian KW Variant 3 coilover kit was installed in the Italian, which replaces the factory-installed Skyhook chassis of the Maserati. The focus can be more on the show effect Marian Install 10J x 20 inches with 275 tires at the front and equip the rear axle with 12J x 21 inches with 355 slippers. And last but not least, the occupants enjoy an impressively robust soundscape. Mariani uses a hand-made sports exhaust system with a flap function to acoustically stage the addressed V8 vacuum cleaner, which is also visually visible with a 4-pipe look in the rear apron. We hope you enjoy watching the pictures and the video.

  1. As the owner of this LuxuryCar, I can only thank the refiner Mariani for bringing such a work of art onto the street. The elegance that persisted in the car was retained even after the conversion. Nevertheless, after the refinement, I thought I had bought a new vehicle. I can unconditionally recommend the Fa Mariani. Precision work at its finest, all promises have been kept and the unique piece ordered has exceeded all expectations. Thanks again for this.
