With the Roma, Ferrari is further expanding its extensive range. NOVITEC, the world's leading tuner for sports cars from Maranello, is now offering an exclusive individual program for the Coupé. NOVITEC engine tuning elicits a peak output of 3,9 kW / 518 hp and a maximum torque of 704 Nm from the 882 liter eight-cylinder biturbo. This catapults the Roma to 3,2 km / h in just 100 seconds and is over 325 km / h. The NOVITEC carbon aerodynamic components give the sporty look of the two-door car a touch of racing look. High-tech forged wheels in 21 and 22 inches, which were developed in cooperation with the American rim manufacturer Vossen, optimally fill the available space in the wheel arches. Chassis modifications are just as much a part of the German company's portfolio as the personalization of the interior, which is individually tailored to the customer.
NOVITEC Ferrari Rome
For decades, NOVITEC has been making Ferrari automobiles even more dynamic and faster with professional engine tuning. While the inner workings of the 3,9 liter V8 biturbo engine in the bow of the Roma remains untouched, the peripherals are modified in various stages of expansion. In order to further optimize the power output, the tuner's technicians developed a modified control for the electronic engine management.
A NOVITEC N-TRONIC control module is used in all performance levels, which feeds specially calibrated maps for injection and ignition into the system and also increases the electronic boost pressure control. Not only does the power output benefit from these measures: the response and pulling behavior are also further optimized. In addition, there are NOVITEC high-performance catalytic converters that have a performance-optimizing effect.
61,8 kW / 84 PS more peak power
In performance level 2, the eight-cylinder produces 61,8 kW / 84 hp more peak power and 122 Nm more torque than in the standard configuration. With 518 kW / 704 hp at 7 rpm and 400 Nm in just 882 tours, the coupé sprints from 3 - 750 km / h in just 3,2 seconds. Tempo 0 is reached after just 100 seconds. The top speed is over 200 km / h. In order to make the Roma even more streamlined and aerodynamically efficient, the NOVITEC designers developed a body styling kit in the wind tunnel that also makes the Roma look even more extravagant. All body components are made of particularly light, but high-strength carbon fiber and coated with a high-gloss coating.
The NOVITEC front spoiler is attached to the standard bumper and not only gives the car an even more striking face: its sophisticated shape also optimizes directional stability at high speeds. Other emphatically sporty accents are set with the panels on the left and right under the main headlights and the carbon fiber front grille. The NOVITEC side skirts not only make the Ferrari look deeper and more elongated when viewed from the side, they also optimize the air flow between the wheel arches on the front and rear axles. Also with a racing look: the carbon covers for the side mirrors.
Spoiler lip on the trunk lid
In order to reduce the lift on the rear axle and thus achieve an optimal aerodynamic balance, NOVITEC upgrades the Roma with a spoiler lip on the trunk lid. Further upgrades are the diffuser insert and the vertical carbon fin. There is also a carbon fiber cover for the extendable rear wing of the Roma. The exclusive NOVITEC look is completed with the carbon covers for the four rear lights.
High-tech forging technology is used in the NOVITEC wheels, which are produced by Vossen. In addition to the highest quality, variety is the key: there are three different designs available for the Ferrari Roma in 72 different colors and three different surface variants. The vehicle shown here is equipped with silver-colored NOVITEC NF10 light alloy rims with a brushed surface. The affinity to the legendary racing tradition of the Italian brand is emphasized by its hub cap in the central locking design. These wheels with five filigree double spokes are driven on the front of the Roma in size 9Jx21 with tires of size 255/30 ZR 21. 12/22 ZR 315 tires are mounted on the 25Jx22 rims on the rear axle.
hydraulic NOVITEC front lift system
The NOVITEC sport springs, which lower the Ferrari by approx. 35 millimeters, are specially tailored to the high-performance tires. At the same time, the technicians also developed a feature that further optimizes the Roma’s suitability for everyday use. With the hydraulic NOVITEC front lift system, the body on the front axle can be raised by 40 millimeters at the push of a button in the cockpit, for example to make it easier to negotiate the ramps in underground garages or speed bumpers. By tapping the switch again or automatically at a speed of 80 km / h, the front section is lowered back to its starting position. With perfectly finished interiors in leather and Alcantara, NOVITEC also fulfills the individual wishes of every customer in the cockpit. The choice of colors is just as limitless as the range of designs.
