What would you buy for a vehicle at the price of 250.000 $? Since one drives already like once in brand new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC + AMG through the area, but you can also go to Maybach Mercedes S650 or a rare one Aston Martin Rapide S to grab. So you could just continue the list as far as you want Land Rover Defender would probably not happen there. But that changes when we see the list in our list "Project Savage" Record Defender from ECD Automotive Design. This copy is said to cost a mere $ 249.995! And why? Because it is completely modified and, of course, a unique piece! The Defender stands on 20-inch in-house ECD aluminum rims that are covered with Toyo Open Country M / T tires and are covered by individual fender flares.

In addition, there is a completely new chassis of Fox suspension which also brings a 2 inch height adjustment. A technical highlight are LED headlamps front for a species-appropriate lighting and more, it goes with changes to the body. The Heritage Edition Anniversary grille and a new bonnet, a new front bumper including WARN 10's Platinum winch and crash bar as well as the roof construction are not available ex works. On the roof there was still a Baja LED auxiliary light and also at the rear of the Defender is much new. In addition to a custom bumper is also a full-fledged spare wheel on the tailgate, there are small LED spots and a ladder for climbing the roof has not been forgotten.

Entry is made easier thanks to the side-mounted running boards with black checkered plate. And a complete transformation is also evident in the interior. Four dreamy Corbeau RRS sports seats offer exclusive living room flair for the occupants and in the loading area four more people can sit on seats that are turned towards each other. Meters of smooth leather and lots of Alcantara decorate the cabin in black and red, and there is even a separate center console for the second row of seats. The driver looks at classic round instruments with dials with a red background and steers the Defender with a Momo sports steering wheel.

The absolute highlight, however, is under the bonnet. There they just installed a 600 PS strong LS3 6.2L V8 that is actually at home in a Corvette. The tuned engine is coupled to a Borla sports exhaust system with an infernal soundscape and ensures insane acceleration values, even with a curb weight of well over 2 tons. Of course, any differentials, the drives or the gearbox were adapted to the brutal extra power. It goes without saying that this load would also like to be braked appropriately and so the tuner installed a completely new brake system with black Wildwood brake calipers and pizza plate-sized brake discs at the front and rear.

Lots of small details such as the red seat belts, the handcrafted door handles on the inside, the invisibly built-in reversing camera and all the possibilities to play modern music sources in the vehicle, for example via Bluetooth or USB, make this vehicle so unique. ECD Automotive Design built the Defender to celebrate the company's 150th converted vehicle. If we receive timely information on further changes not mentioned before, there will of course be an update for this report.
