Restomod 1963 Chevrolet Corvette C2 "split window"

So-called Restomods are just springing up like mushrooms! Hardly any classic is spared from this and the Corvette C2 is no exception as we know. But so far there was no so-called "split window" C2. The split rear window of the 1963 coupe gave the C2 its name. But a year later in 1964, the split rear window had disappeared again. And one of these rare specimens as 1st963 Chevrolet Corvette 63RS Custom Split Window Coupe (VIN: XXXXX30837S103420) is now available for purchase as a full restomod for just under 600.000 US dollars on the parkplaceltd.com website. A vehicle that has been completely restored and is now in the condition of a new car. Built by "The Roadster Shop" from Illinois, it is currently on sale in Bellevue (Washington). The boys have that too Chevrolet Camaro Rampage pass.

LS3-V8 from Wegner Motor Sports

And the am and im Auto changes are extremely extensive and start with the engine. Under the long hood is a 6,8-liter LS3-V8 from Wegner Motor Sports, which uses the compressor to produce a crazy 817 hp and 1.094 Nm torque. The engine was coupled to a reinforced four-speed automatic transmission and in addition to special stainless steel manifolds, there was also a 3-inch exhaust system with mufflers from Borla-Performance for the C2. And of course, extensive changes were made to the chassis and chassis, such as significantly enlarged lower and upper wishbones. And, of course, the brake system is also adapted to the huge performance of the V8 and decelerated with huge perforated and slotted brake discs and multi-piston calipers.

19 inch Forgeline rims in black

The brakes are hidden behind ultra-light 19 inch Forgeline rims with crazy 345 Nitto-Drag tires. Countless details such as the curved windshield without bezel, the flush mounted rear window (also without bezel), the new radiator grille, the ultra-modern LED taillights or the new aprons at the front and rear impressively round off the visual changes on the outside. And the cabin is no less spectacular. The most important details here are a high-quality leather interior with suede components, the sporty bucket seats with racing belts or the "Outlaw" gear lever and the small Momo sports steering wheel with three spokes. By the way, there is also plenty of carbon, a redesigned center console and a state-of-the-art digital instrument cluster from Dakota Gaughes. Since the conversion, the vehicle has only run a few miles and is therefore almost unused and completely free of damage. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
