With this vehicle you can actually speak of "extreme tuning"! The object of desire is a Škoda Octavia from 1963, which was equipped with a V8 engine from BMW, and which we reported years ago. The vehicle is currently being auctioned on eBay! The first generation of the Octavia was built from 1959 to 1971 and the sedan was made until 1964. The latter was later replaced by the Skoda 1000 MB. After the company was taken over by the Volkswagen concern in 1996, the Octavia was again included in the program of the Mlada Boleslav manufacturer. And from the factory, a Škoda Octavia from 1963 actually has a tired 1.089 cc four-cylinder with a paltry 42 hp under the hood and later a 1.221 cc unit with 55 hp was introduced. Compared to a Trabant, that was significantly more power, but nowadays that's no longer worth mentioning. And that's probably what the previous owner of the Octavia thought too, who put a 4,4-liter V8 from the BMW Regal in the bow squeezed.

Significant changes were of course required for the conversion. After all, the Octavia was never designed for sportiness. The model listed on eBay is the result of a project that a tuner started in 2015 and apparently completed. He succeeded in transplanting the BMW V8 into the small engine compartment of the Octavia. Specifically, it is the engine from a 540i E39 built in 1997.
The 4,4 liter engine delivers an impressive 286 hp and a maximum torque of 420 Nm. Before the engine came into the Octavia, however, massive work had to be done to strengthen the chassis and body. And the body was also rebuilt in the course of this and now impresses with one Wide body kit. After the modifications, the car is only vaguely reminiscent of the old Octavia. And that also applies to the cabin. This was with sports seats and Sport belts equipped and the ambience is generally kept very specific to racing cars.

Other details in the cabin are a white Sport steering wheel and the fact that all unnecessary things were thrown out right away. Countless small details like the massive one Sidepipe sport exhaust system, the black headlights and aprons, the hood with the quick release, the dark rear windows to the striking red exterior mirrors round off the tuning. The heavily modified Octavia is currently being auctioned on eBay under item number 185774030157 and interested parties can bid until February 26th.
