Opinions have been divided on the Tesla's Cybertruck since the 2019 presentation. While some advocate the bold design, others find it downright ugly. But it is a fact that the eight-bit optics cause a lot of attention! And Elon Musk at least "dared" to bring a change into the boring world of pickup trucks. The Cybertruck is not based on the bestseller Ford F-150. And it is very likely that a lot of capital was saved in the design studio. After all, anyone can build such a square block, right? The YouTuber “Garage54” are of the opinion “YES!”. Shortly before the end of 2019, they announced that they wanted to convert a UAZ into a Tesla Cybertruck. And now it has actually become something like a car. The UAZ received an extended wheelbase, the distinctive look of the Cybertruck and a few black side windows are already installed. You only (still) do without lighting, a windshield and doors that have to open.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
