The Swedish premium electric car brand Polestar introduces a handcrafted mountain bike with a unique design and individual components. It was developed together with the Swedish family-owned company Allebike, a manufacturer of high-quality bicycles. The ”Allebike Alpha Polestar Edition” full suspension mountain bike will be available in a limited edition of 100 pieces and is a new flagship product in the Polestar Additionals Webshop*.

“The attention to detail, design and technology is an essential part of the development of our vehicles. With this in mind, we also developed the Allebike Alpha Polestar Edition. Together with the amazing team at Allebike we have created the perfect mountain bike for those who appreciate both a great ride and great design,” said Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO and cycling enthusiast.
The limited-edition mountain bike is a special edition of Allebike's versatile Alpha model. Co-developed by Polestar and Allebike, the bespoke lightweight and stiff carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) frame offers a solid and responsive ride. With its modern geometry, which was developed for the popular "downcountry" class, the bike is equipped for any terrain. A more upright seating position enables efficient climbs and a flat head tube angle of 65 degrees ensures more safety when riding downhill.
Polestar's minimalist design language is clearly visible with a more angular shape of the frame and a new symmetrical rear swingarm and internal cable routing. A wireless seat post is standard, wireless shifting is an optional technical feature. The Allebike Alpha Polestar Edition is colour-coordinated perfectly with the Polestar vehicles and will only be available in the two matt metallic colors Snow and Space. Unique to the limited edition mountain bike are shock absorbers and other equipment features painted in Swedish gold – the same color that also characterizes the performance package available for the Polestar 2.

Like the Polestar vehicles, the full-suspension bike is also equipped with the latest Öhlins dampers. The golden Polestar versions of the Öhlins RXF34 m.2 29 Air Suspension with 130 mm travel (front wheel damper) and the TTX1Air with 120 mm travel (rear wheel damper) are specially tuned for optimal performance of the limited mountain bike. Each bike is hand built by Allebike in Alingsås, less than an hour from Polestar's headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.
“The Allebike Alpha Polestar Edition offers a fast, fun and stable experience both uphill and downhill and puts a smile on every rider's face. As a Swedish bicycle manufacturer, we are proud to work closely with our Swedish colleagues Polestar and Öhlins on this project. We are all equally obsessed with getting every little detail perfect,” adds Alexander Blomqvist, Allebike’s Head of Design and co-founder. The Allebike Alpha Polestar Edition is a new flagship product in the Polestar Additionals Webshop* and is sold exclusively online. The bike will only be available in one size and in two colors for around 9.500 euros.
