In which situation is it worth considering buying rims and tires separately?
If vehicle owners want to drive high-quality aluminum rims in the summer and steel rims in the winter, tires and wheels are worth it separately to buy. All season tires - good or bad?
Most car owners naturally use in the summer summer tires, as they are made of non-slip materials and ensure reliable driving behavior even at high temperatures on the road. In winter are winter tires the best choice, as the special profile ensures sufficient traction even on slippery roads.

Narrow tires vs. wide tires
Car owners who want to use wider tires should keep in mind that wider tires can slip faster when wet. In terms of driving comfort and fuel consumption, wide tires are not always the best choice either. They are best suited for dry roads and mild temperatures. Compared to all other road conditions, they sometimes lag significantly behind narrower tires.
Narrow tires have clear advantages when starting off on snow. They make cornering easier and the risk of slipping on wet and muddy roads is significantly reduced. Aquaplaning tests show that with a water depth of 7 mm wide tires lose contact with the ground from a driving speed of 70 km / h.
