What is special about this Rolls-Royce Cullinan? On the one hand, it is obviously much longer than the series. Between the axes were additional 350 mm (13,8 inches) added to provide even more rear legroom. He also has one partition wall, which separates the driver (chauffeur) from the rear passengers. There was an XXL wide-screen TV next to the partition wall, there were picnic tables, elegant lounge seats with a massage function, one starry headliner and many other equipment features, some of which were installed directly in Rolls-Royce's Goodwood factory, but some also later. But something else was added. And you can only tell that when you see the partially open side windows.
with VR6 armor
A comprehensive one is installed ballistic protection, which, together with the longer wheelbase, makes the luxury SUV significantly more expensive than the series. Specifically, the armor class VR6 installed, which is able to withstand shots from an assault rifle, such as an AK-47. It also withstands side blasts of 72 pounds (approx. 33 kg) of TNT from a distance of almost 40 feet (approx. 12 m) according to the supplier.
Ballistic protection includes an armored roof, an armored vehicle floor, and the aforementioned windows, even those in the bulkhead, are also armored. However, the conversions required a reinforcement of the chassis and an integrated one provides additional safety Fire extinguishing system and other minor extras. Incidentally, the vehicle in the pictures is brand new and has only driven 217 miles (approx. 350 km). And the armored Cullinan is for sale!
Basis: the Black Badge variant
The Company Hollman mentions in its sales ad that the base vehicle is a Black Badge variant that provides propulsion with 600 PS & 900 Nm torque. The price is said to be insane though 1.495.000 € be. So roughly four times the price of a brand new Cullinan in the US. While we're not 100% sure, we believe the remodel was done by the team at KLASSEN® automobiles carried out.
