Thömus Twinner T1 Pro: rocket e-bike sets new standards!

The e-bike world could soon enter new dimensions thanks to the Thömus Twinner T1 Pro. After Thömus had already made a name for itself with the feather-light e-fully, the Lightrider E Ultimate, the Swiss manufacturer is now backing a completely new horse. The eyes of observant e-bike enthusiasts are drawn to the Twinner T1 Pro's angular design, with a distinctive wide frame and six-spoke wheels that look straight out of a motorcycle. The heart of the Twinner T1 Pro is the Transvserse Flex hub motor in the rear with a proud 70 Nm torque. According to Thömus, the nimble speedster promises electrical support of up to 45 km/h and that in only 3,6 seconds – a remarkable achievement that probably makes some traffic light races possible.

Embossed on the handlebar 3,5 inch display, affectionately dubbed the “Twinner Smart Hub,” which is next to the Cruise Control and battery Level also has a rear traffic display ready. However, there is a small catch: A camera is required for this function Optional and not included in the basic price. And the Twinner T1 Pro has enough space for a decent 1.000 Wh battery. A more powerful version with a capacity of 600 Wh is available for a surcharge of CHF 1.638. The battery, cleverly integrated into the frame, can be easily removed at the push of a button and thus charged anywhere. A clever idea from the manufacturer: One can advance decide whether to use the full battery or just 70 percent, with the remaining 30 percent being reserved for emergencies.

ABS & heated grips: With all the extras, it costs almost 15.000 euros

The equipment of the Thömus Twinner T1 Pro is extensive: A brake system with 4-pistonDisc brakes front and rear, optionally with ABS from the supplier Bluebrake for an additional 600 CHF. And the luxury doesn't stop there. There is a Heated handle, a set of carbon fenders and complete lighting with daytime and nighttime running lights. But of course, all these delicacies have their price. The basic version of the Twinner T1 Pro costs the equivalent 10.010 EUR and with all the extras you can with just under 15.000 EUR calculate. But hey, this is a limited S-Pedelec that will only be produced 600 times and is available in the stylish colors Black Satin, Petrol, White Satin and Ice Blue. The Thömus Twinner T1 Pro is definitely more than just an e-bike. It is a statement, a demonstration of technical mastery and at the same time a real eye-catcher.
