The Audi SPORT QUATTRO from the 80s are extremely rare and popular. Prices from € 20.000 to € 100.000 are no art, depending on the condition. (A red 1985 model is currently being offered at Mobile for € 259.800). However, the model shown here surpasses this price by far. A buyer paid a proud € 347.000 for the 306PS strong Quattro limited to 200 pieces with the chassis number WAUZZZ85ZEA905147, the first owner of which was the Japanese Yoshikuni Okamoto.

The auction where the car went under the hammer was that of RM Auctions. The car only ran 8.300km and already cost an extreme 195.000 D-Marks, and was therefore twice as expensive as a 911 Turbo at the time. We hope that the new owner will drive more than just the previous average 277 km a year with the Quattro.
