With the new Smart # 1 the manufacturer brings Smart (now under Chinese management) again a particularly strong tuning variant from Brabus at the start. We reported on this recently. And now we finally have the concrete ones Key data obtained in terms of performance of the sport variant. However, it is still unclear whether the 2023 Smart #1 Brabus will also be sold in markets outside of China. The modifications begin under the body, where Brabus and Smart front one Electric motor with 154 hp & 200 Nm torque obstruct, in combination with the 268 hp & 343 Nm strong rear engine is working. That adds up to what was already leaked a few months ago 422 PS & 543 Nm torque. And they just leave the crossover in 3,7 seconds at 100 km / h accelerate. The Brabus model has the same 66 kWh battery pack built like the standard Smart #1, which means it's likely to have less range than the regular ones 440 km will own.

Added to this is a little something new optics with additional air intakes under the hood, two-tone painted (silver & black) Rims and all Brabus models will also receive a three-tone finish, the Matte Gray with Silent Black and Laser Red combined. Also the calipers are painted in red. In the cabin there is also a Brabus logo on the headrests, one covered with Alcantara and leather Steering wheel and red contrast stitching. Incidentally, the Chinese prices for the Smart No. 1 Brabus start at 279.000 yuan (€40.690), which is of course an announcement compared to the production version with a starting price of 190.000 yuan (€27.710).
