2024 Mercedes GLC 43 4MATIC and GLC 63 SE Performance!

Fresh from Mercedes-AMG we have the first impressions of the refreshed GLC Coupé, especially as GLC 43 4MATIC and GLC 63 SE Performance. While the basic version, the GLC 43, already comes with 314 kW / 421 hp, the GLC 63 SE Performance goes one step further with a system output of 500 kW / 680 hp. The standard features of both are remarkable. They have features like a precise Rear axle steering, a progressive one MCT 9G gearbox with a wet starting clutch and that AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension, which scores points thanks to adaptive adjustment damping.

GLC 43 4MATIC or GLC 63 SE Performance?

Visually they set with the characteristic AMG radiator grille, wheel covers in the color of the vehicle and striking AMG side skirts Accents. Depending on the model, the AMGs come with 19-, 20- or 21-inch wheels. A special highlight is the AMG-embossed rear apron Either in the diffuser design for the GLC 43 or with an additional diffuser board for the GLC 63 S. The differently designed double tailpipe trims - round for the GLC 43 and trapezoidal for the GLC 63 S - complete the overall picture.

Interior details

The interior is impressive AMG seats, which are made in a combination of artificial leather ARTICO and MICROCUT AMG microfiber and stand out with a unique design and cover. And for those looking for a little more luxury, there are optional seat covers made from genuine or fine nappa leather, finished with a stamped AMG emblem on the front headrests. And if you like it even sportier, you can opt for the optional ones AMG Performance seats decide.

Another highlight is the one installed as standard AMG performance steering wheel: on the GLC 43 in fine nappa leather and on the GLC 63 S in a combination of nappa leather and MICROCUT microfiber. The specially shaped steering wheel, which has holes in the grip area, also has shiny aluminum shift paddles. Two round AMG buttons on the steering wheel also make it easier to access various driving functions AMG DYNAMIC SELECT Driving modes. And the finishing touches are provided by sporty AMG pedals, special floor mats and illuminated tread plates with the AMG logo.

Powerful performance of the GLC 63 SE Performance

Under the hood of the GLC 63 SE PERFORMANCE Coupé is the M139l, which delivers 350 kW (476 hp) at 6.725 rpm. The combustion engine's impressive torque, which is 545 Nm, develops between 5.250 and 5.500 rpm. But that's not all: the 2,0-liter engine is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor, a high-performance battery designed in Affalterbach and the versatile all-wheel drive AMG Performance 4MATIC + supplemented.
