MOPF Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-door Coupé E-Performance Hybrid!

There’s the beast – the newly revised one Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-door coupe (MOPF = model maintenance). With a proud starting price of EUR 207.708,55, the luxurious E-Performance hybrid example from AMG positions itself confidently on the market. And it really has a lot to offer! Let's start with the optics: A wider air intake below the special AMG radiator mask and vertical air inlets, integrated into the redesigned front apron, give the X 290 an even more distinctive face. But the GT 63 S also shines in new splendor inside. The standard equipment now includes additional comfort features such as an electric glass sunroof and the ability to wirelessly charge smartphones between the rear seats.

With the infotainment system, the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience), Mercedes-AMG has also lent a hand to this AMG-specific displays and integrate customizable functions. And for fans of good sound: the standard one Burmester Surround Sound System promises a treat for the ears, with the truly audiophile perhaps going for the optionally available one Burmester high-end 3D surround sound system with Dolby Atmos should work.

Under the hood (or rather: under the entire bodywork) of the sporty coupé hides technical features such as the 9-speed automatic transmission AMG Speedshift MCT, the fully variable all-wheel drive AMG Performance 4Matic +, and the adaptive chassis AMG Ride Control+ with adjustable cushioning. The active rear axle steering, a high-performance braking system and Multibeam LED headlights are further features that increase the driving pleasure and comfort of the AMG GT 63 S.

843 hp and a torque of +1.400 Nm

However, the real heart of the matter is the interaction V8 biturbo and electric motor, which together provide a system performance of 620 kW (843 PS) and a maximum torque of over 1.400 Nm unfold. Thanks to the immediate development of power and the optimized weight distribution, this should ensure particularly dynamic driving behavior without losing efficiency. And another small but nice touch is the new paintwork in “Opalite white metallic“, which expands the color selection. When it comes to rims and upholstery, however, everything remains the same.

If you want to give your new AMG GT 63 S a personal touch, you can choose from a variety of customization options - from AMG aerodynamic packages and Carbon and Night packages towards special ones manufactory-paintings. And there are also a variety of options in the interior Performance or massage seats as well as various Back Seat Packages. In short: The revised Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4-Door Coupé presents itself as a fascinating mix of power, luxury and sportiness, peppered with the latest technology and individualization options.
