Square, practical and good – as a classic SUV or as a slanted SUV coupé – the Mercedes GLC buyer has the choice. There are only compromises with the AMG 63S E-Performance, regardless of the body shape, as it lacks a cylinder bank. The “new modesty” relies on a sophisticated 4-ender with E-Power support - which makes a total of 680 hp system output and hides the 2,2 tons of the AMG-GLC as a flyweight! Doesn't sound nice, but it works like hell! Whichever variant you choose, the H&R technicians strongly recommend installing their sport spring set. Meticulously coordinated with the Mercedes series dampers, the lowering of the vehicle's center of gravity not only enables more agile steering behavior, but the body roll is also noticeably reduced.
also Trak + wheel spacers
Nevertheless, the driving comfort remains at the standard level, as does the maximum payload. Both models become even sportier when H&R wheel spacers made of high-tensile aluminum are installed. These enable millimeter-precise alignment of standard and retrofit wheels on the fender edges and ensure the perfect wheelbase. In the version installed here with 13 mm (per wheel) on the front and rear axle, the wheel spacers even have an ABE, so entry in the vehicle documents is not necessary. All H&R products are “Made in Germany” and always have the necessary parts certificates.
