Alpina B7 Turbo Coupe 1 635 CSi E24 Base 10

A BMW that has been refined by Alpina in Buchloe is generally a very special vehicle. The official company of the brand with the white and blue propeller from 2026 has been responsible for exclusive models with the BMW logo on the front and rear for decades. These vehicles embodied the pure, original style of the people of Munich, far removed from exaggerated sportiness or luxurious chicimicki. Established as a premium offshoot, Alpina was never responsible for showmanship or chav vehicles, but rather embodied the subtle sportiness of the BMW models. Today we would like to introduce you to a special example that has 122.902 km on the clock and was only built 110 times.

Black pearl with rarity value!

This is number 58 and it is the Alpina B7 Turbo Coupe/1 that was available from 1984-1987. The car was painted diamond black and has gold Alpina lettering on the body. And of course the unmistakable Alpina design of the 80s didn't stop at this example either. And so golden vertical stripes along the body adorn the car. Furthermore, the Alpina-typical rear spoiler found its way to the car. There is also a Bilstein chassis with lowering springs and internally ventilated disc brakes, which ensure that the classic comes to a safe stop at all speeds.

Hands were also put on in the interior!

The interior is lined with black leather and Recaro sports seats are also included. Furthermore, an electric sunroof and electric windows were retrofitted. The Alpina also got more special equipment compared to the standard model. And then there's the 3,5-liter R6 turbo petrol engine. A full 330 hp ensure propulsion under the hood of the unique coupé. This is joined by a maximum of 512 Newton meters of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed Getrag manual gearbox. An automatic wasn't even an option back then.

Registered for the first time in Düsseldorf / at the time the fastest sedan in the world / top speed 270 km/h / K27 type charger with variable boost pressure from KKK (Kühnle, Kopp & Kausch), reduced compression, special pistons installed, new intake manifold, new injection, different ignition, new charge air cooling, new exhaust system / transmission and rear axle optimized / 25 percent lock / Alpina body kit with rims, decor etc.

Our conclusion:

  • It's great that such vehicles are kept and don't fall victim to the scrap press. The expected $90.000-$110.000 for the vehicle is definitely not an overstatement, and we're excited to see how much the coupe will fetch.
