Are you looking for an alternative to the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 or the Mercedes C-Class? How about the Lexus IS? Although the refreshed design of the IS is not immediately recognizable, if you take a closer look, there are a lot of differences. The biggest changes are probably the newly shaped headlights as well as the larger air inlets in the bumper and of course the "Diabolo" grille. So why don't you manage to sell more than 250 Lexus IS in Germany annually?
The "Takumi" workmanship is great and the sporty new chassis and direct steering are convincing. A small point of criticism is the fact that only the premium navigation system (surcharge 3.000 euros) has an internet connection for online searches or the use of Google Street View and that sets it back against the competition. And that's why the Japanese tuner Artisan Spirtis something considered. The company does not change the technology of the IS, but it brings with the new Black Label Bodykit but even more individuality to the Japanese.
The components underline the harmonious lines of the IS perfectly and set chic accents in exactly the right places. The Bodykit comes with a front spoiler with side Aeroflaps for the standard bumper which ensures a lowering of the front by 28 mm. Fitting for this are the approaches for the side skirts which, like the front spoiler, have small aeroflaps and also allow the side part to be lowered by 28 mm. Very sporty is the optional rear diffuser with side lugs including flaps, the rear view can be seen much more aggressive and the rear of the IS by 25 mm closer to the road.
Matching this, there is also a small spoiler lip for the tailgate and a roof spoiler and both components come on request in chic Sichtcarbon. If you want, you can also decorate the eye-catching front grille with carbon applications and install a number plate holder made of carbon. And also has a new wheelset Artisan spirits in stock and this can also be seen. The presentation vehicle was placed on 20 inch (9 & 10,5j) CORART A5 aluminum rims that convince with a two-part structure and black paint. A lowering is also installed but no information is available at the moment.
The lowering is approximately 50 mm and it ensures that the upper edge of the wheelset with the Radhauskanten completes and underlines the overall sporty impression. All in all, the Black Label Lexus IS by Artisan Spirits is a very successful appearance that has taken exactly the right path in terms of understatement.
